Just guessing of course, but it sounds like ‘she’ stabbed him, ‘he’ took the knife from her and stabbed ‘her’ more efficiently, then offed himself with a bullet when ‘he’ realized how efficient he had been. He saved tax payers the costs of medical treatment, legal processing, and incarceration for his efficient use of a knife.
