I thought Mueller was investigating Russia interfering with the campaign. This so called meeting took place right before the inauguration. If Trump was trying to establish a back door to the Kremlin AFTER the election, that proves there was no collusion DURING the election.
You guys don’t seem to understand. The whole point of the investigation is the investigation itself. It’s a predatory process meant to keep pressure and fear on the Presidency for the sake of protecting the real criminals who have broken real laws against the interests of our country. They can sit and push on after virtual nothing-burger for years and years, all in an effort to snipe at people around the administration, cultivating an environment of fear and anger, all meant to disrupt any attempts to pursue justice against Hillary’s comrades.
Unilaterally shutting it down may not be what they are trolling for, but it would get them an enormous amount of political mileage into removing Trump or at least de-fanging him from going after said comrades. But the primary goal is to persist as jackals, forever biting and threatening, until a real miss-step is cajoled.

This is after the election and should be outside the scope of the alleged Russian interfere but apparently Rosenstein rubber stamps everything Mueller does. Next, Trump’s cousins uncle investigated for jaywalking.

Next time Trump will know that the proper way to talk to russia is to hire a US law firm that hires a US company to hire a UK flunky to be the go-between.
Putting at least 3 layers between you and ANYTHING is the way it works in DC even if Russia isn’t involved. It lets you deny what you were doing when you’re caught. And it grows the bureaucracy into a dysfunctional mess that can’t accomplish anything just like DC wants it. Just look at the layers between warnings to the FBI about the FL school shooter and preventing the shooting. Nothing was done right, but nobody is responsible.
And people want to impeach Trump for not using middlemen and actually getting things done. Even if accusations are true, he didn’t do anything that other candidates do, he just did it directly.
So an incoming President isn’t supposed to have any dealings with ferriners?
