Vanity - Democrats get spanked big time in Texas.

Posted on 03/06/2018 7:30:02 PM PST by JLAGRAYFOX

No doubt about it now, folks. Just like the Academy Awards crashed and burned last Sunday evening, the Democrat Party, "Massive Early Voting" crashed and burned tonight in the Texas, 2018 primary election. Ah, the days of Wendy Davis certainly have returned.

I ask you this, folks, where was Obama, where was Clinton, where was Chuck Schumer, and where was Nancy Pelosi? Time to move on, Democrats, this game is over...Trumpie has won big time!!! The blooming rose of Texas remains bright Trump "RED". MAGA..Trump!!!

Comments, please. Media, mighty quiet tonight on election politics for some reason. No exit polls, no nothing.

Damn straight. The current vote totals show the GOP outvoting dems in primaries by 15 to 20% at this point.

This is a primary. How can “D’s“ or “R’s” lose?

It’s going to be hilarious if after all the ‘Blue Wave’ mainstream media hype, the Democratic Party’s federal gains this November was just a handful of House seats (while losing seats in the Senate.)

It’s armchair quarterbacking that the primaries are supposed to be indicative of the general election turnout.

Glenn Beck and no doubt many others were concerned. "We can't lost Texas." OK, I'll leave it, an example of how I slip up. I caught it and spellchecker wouldn't have (was just on a grammar thread). "We can't losE Texas."

Thank you for some positive news.

George P would have to run for Governor or the Senate.

Land Commissioner? Note exactly a high profile office.

Turnout was much heavier on the Republican side so far but only about 1/4 of the results are in.

The early voting had a lot more D's coming in than normal and the main-stream commies, I mean media, were hoping that portends a big swing to the left. Turns out that all it means is that the commies in Texas who hate Trump, really, really hate him and couldn't wait to vote and that it didn't mean that a bunch of normals were going to change to voting Democrat.

The current vote totals show the GOP outvoting dems in primaries by 15 to 20% at this point.

Much worse than that for the DEMS:

With 23% precincts counted:

For US Senate Seat:

Total Dem Votes: 625K
Total Rep Votes: 929K

A difference of almost 30%.

Dems are getting killed!

So far, Cruz alone has logged almost 1/3 more votes than the entire Democratic field for Senate. The GOP vote total, with ~30% counted is 50% higher than the Dem vote total.

You judge primaries on two things, the vote the winning candidate gets and then add the total vote of all those in his/her party who ran against her or him in the Primary.

When you total out the numbers for the GOP, they are absolutely stunning, 300,000-500.000 vote leads against their Democrat opponents when all the final tallies be come in. Blowout from A-Z!!! Trumpie rules “RED” Texas. MAGA!!!

There was supposed to be a HUGE increase in voter turnout on the Democrat side because, because Trump.

There wasn't.

Cruz should sleep well tonight. Considering that the Republicans hold most offices in the state, and most of the primary contests weren't seriously contested, this is a big ____ deal (as Joe Biden would say).

And down-ballot from Cruz, the numbers are even worse with the DEMS falling behind by almost 40%.

Looks like all the energy from the Blue Wave washed up against the Rocks of Reality!
