Our representatives are the ones to blame for the excesses of public pensions - not the teachers.

What about the teachers who go out on strike when they don't get a contract they like?

Who allows teachers to go on strike? Our laws allow it. Who writes our laws? Those who represent us in the state house or U.S. Congress.

Our government has in its power the authority the ability to curtail or end government employee unions. Governor Scott Walker (Wis) curtailed public union rights in Wisconsin - a win for the taxpayer and state. FDR of all people - did not support government employee unions.

Again - our representatives are the key to ending government employee unions.
