The real issue is how they are going to portray Manson and his fiends. If they try to make them sympathetic, then it is despicable to be involved in the film. If they show the real evil and madness that was involved, I don’t think they should be criticized.

One can’t blame Sharon Tate’s sister for objecting. As you stated, Sharon Tate was absolutely stunning while Lawrence...is not.

The Tate murders happened a little over a year before I was born, so what info I have heard has been in documentaries, books, etc.
I’ve heard from several sources that, at the time of the murders, Tate was disillusioned with Polanski and was unhappy in her marriage. Her only true happiness was her pregnancy and her excitement over becoming a mother.
It doesn’t surprise me one bit about Polanski, Beatty and Nicholson. I’ve heard Ryan O’Neal was another pedo, but I don’t know if that is fact or just speculation.
