I used to have a quick release “belly pack” that had a holster in side. It was setup for either left hand pull cord/right hand pistol or vice versa. It was very fast access and worked quite well with my Beretta .380 Model 84F. Carried all over Disneyland, Disney World, and Universal studios several times and no one suspected a thing. It was a unisex accessory. Both my wife and I each had one.
They could always bring back the bustle... ;-)

The notion of being able to doge “slow” bullets is so ludicrous, I’m going to give the “analyst” the benefit of the doubt, and assume he meant something else.
Handgun (slow) bullets have about 1/3 of the kinetic energy of “assault rifle” (fast) bullets. That, combined with far better aiming characteristics, gives rifles a great advantage — except in close-quarters encounters (such as a school classroom). If the “analyst” was referring to kinetic energy, and effective range — than his remarks weren’t totally insane. They were just garden-variety stupid and biased.

Best Wedding reception I have ever been to was a Pig-Picking and skeet shooting affair in coastal North Carolina.
The Father of the Bride also had an old piano out in the field where we took turns shooting it with pistols and rifles.
Best was the Bride with an AR blasting that poor piano as she closed in on it.
So, women can’t be as powerful as men. Okey doke, CNN. Thanks for the update.
