Sweden’s intelligence service has warned “foreign powers” could try to meddle in the country’s upcoming general election, singling out Russia in light of alleged interference in the last US vote.
However, the Swedish Security Service (Säpo), which is responsible for tackling espionage and terrorism, said in its annual report that Sweden’s “robust” and “decentralized” electoral system was tough to influence.
“It cannot be ruled out that certain foreign powers will take advantage of the Swedish election campaign to enhance conflicts in Swedish society and attempt to weaken the democratic system,” said Säpo head Anders Thornberg in the document, which was written last year and presented on Thursday.
“Russian espionage constitutes the greatest security threat” against non-NATO member Sweden, Säpo warned, adding that a third of Russian diplomats in the country were spies.
“Russia is in Sweden’s vicinity and could be linked to a potential military conflict,” Johan Olsson, a Säpo chief for countering security threats, said in the report. …

This is Soros and Obama making a full on attack against Democracy. If you vote “properly” the vote is accurate. If you vote improperly (IE populist and nationalist) then they’re spreading the story that the vote is illegitimate and they can contest the results.

When foreigners criticize the left’s champions, that is criminal election interference, and cause for indictments. When they criticize the right, that is, of course, legitimate as a preventive measure against all manner of bad things. Because Hitler.
BTW, who is/are the most conservative political party/parties/individuals in Sweden?
It depends on your take on conservatism.
The most popular party are Social Democrats (the name talking) followed by Moderata samlingspartiet who describe themselves as ‘liberal conservatives’ being socially liberal and economically moderate. The third are Swedish Democrats who are somehow conservative by Swedish standard arguably being to the left of US Democrats but to the right of the two above.
In any way the Left (Communist) and Green party combined has more followers than this poor excuse of ‘conservative’ Democrats. Also Democrats has at best four times lesser followers than Social Democrats.

There is exactly one party, the Sweden Democrats (SD) that does not want to destroy Sweden through the replacement of Swedes with Muslims from various sh-t holes source countries.
Every other party either actively seeks, or passively accepts, the obliteration of the Swedish people and their homeland.
Unfortunately, the Swedes are a weak people with a very feminized society, so the SD is very unlikely ever to get the 51 percent it would need to govern alone.
The Soviet communists always interfered in Scandinavian politics from Sweden to Finland and Norway.
Every “peace” movement in those three countries were literally controlled by the KGB through it’s “World Peace Council” front.
