Personally, I’m leaning more toward there being nothing subversive going on in that town hall and writing it off as miscommunication between the production crew and Colton and his family.
Why would anyone give CNN the benefit of any doubt? They are the FAKE NEWS NETWORK! It is what they do. They gave Hillary the questions in advance to one of their FAKE Presidential debates!

The question is too narrow. A more probative question is whether or not CNN stacked the presentation in order to obtain a preferred tenor of audience conclusion.
There are plenty of ways to be dishonest, besides literally writing every word that every speaker will utter.
