What lengths??? Everybody in the red part of America is telling President Trump to fire that imbecile, and he has let Mueller keep going.
Mr. Friedman, I would love to see who pays you to write this stuff.

The last vestige of republic is the supreme court and the electoral college. The senate (high house) was knocked down to democracy by the 17th amendment (taking assignment of senators from statehouses and making them elected by popular vote). The courts legislate from the bench enough to be a serious issue.
