Most importantly, Mitt is a Republican vote in the Senate.

He is not a maverick disruptor like john McCain or Rand Paul. When the chips are down, Mitt will toe the party line.

The president’s endorsement is recognition of that fact

I do not really like Romney but accept this reality

I’ll believe it when I see it. Never trust a Mormon.

There are so many things incorrect in that statement, I don’t know where to begin.

What does "Republican vote in the Senate" mean? They've shown us that without doubt the vast majority of Republican US Senators are traitors to their voting fodder and enslaved by their paymasters.

The best that can be said is Mitt Romney is not a Democrat. The only agenda he serves is his own.

Sadly you are right. Political realities stink.

Mitt Romney acted in lock step with Ted Kennedy when he was Gov of MA.
He is a danger to the US as sure as Kennedy was. Its foolish to think otherwise.

He's the father of Gay Marriage in America. He single-handedly implemented Gay Marriage in Massachusetts without the House of Representatives passing a law.

How is that for "not being a maverick disrupter?"

"He is not a maverick disruptor like john McCain or Rand Paul. When the chips are down, Mitt will toe the party line."

That's the problem. The party line usually is adverse to Trumps agenda to MAGA.

Speaking of Rand Paul, he's sill hoping to get to the White House and could possibly challenge Trump in 2020

Even Mitt, if he thinks there is any hope for him to primary Trump, he probably will.

The senate is usually a good place from which to run for president.

I’m afraid Willard will end up being a sanctimonious Trump backstabber just like Saint Jeffy Flake. I don’t trust him, not one bit.
