During a February 18 appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) told Chuck Todd that handguns are used for crime far more often than AR-15s.
Lankford’s statement followed Todd’s focus on how an 18-year-old can buy an AR-15 in Florida, but must be 21 in order to buy a handgun.
During the live broadcast, Lankford responded, “An AR-15 is a rifle, a handgun is obviously a handgun…[and] there are three, four, five times as many crimes committed with a handgun than there are with a rifle.”
He added, “When you look at the statistics, many, many, many, more shootings occur with a pistol, than they do with a rifle.”

Back in 1934, the US government attempted, AND FAILED, to get handguns taxed along with machine guns. It was said back then that RIFLES were better for home defense than handguns.
Now the rifles are super BAD, BAD BAD!
While it is true that far more criminal violence is by pistols, it takes a rifle to resist troops. So the Democrat Socialists focus on the only thing they truly fear, a threat to their absolute power.
And gee, think of all the handguns bought and made illegally in the United Kingdom following the Dunblane pistol ban. I wonder what Chuck would say to that, eh?

He is an adult and autism has a “spectrum”. If a boy acts wild and rambunctious, he gets identified as ADD/ADHD and is drugged. If he acts shy and quiet, he goes “on the spectrum” and is drugged. This is the War on Boys in a nutshell.

The Virginia Tech shooter killed what..over 30+ people and no AR 15 was used..this is a typical leftist tactic..first they want the AR 15 banned..when the next shooting happens, this time with a handgun they will say..ban all handguns..then it will be..ban all pistols..til ALL guns are banned..that is their agenda

Chuck Todd this morning said that students were so mad and were more mature than in the past and were being very vocl about more gun control and laws...
He seemed to be encouraging students to take to the streets in protesting the present administration...

The main reason these mass shooters use AR-15s is that they know the media will go berserk, which is exactly what they want. They are in it for the media attention.
