I don’t know if my grandmother (deceased) ever got the belt, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she did; she raised my father (also deceased). He wasn’t abusive at all, but the belt meant you were in the deep doo-doo, do not repeat what you just did. It worked.

Violent video games play a huge part in this; have no idea why people will not admit it (except that many people let their kids play them). Obviously most kids do not go to this extreme, but look at the legions of screaming, unhinged lunatics and ask yourself..."where does THAT come from?" Rage, rage, rage. There are studies confirming this; largely ignored.

Kids with pre-existing problems; those with sketchy family backgrounds, and children of leftists kooks have no sense of societal norms. Immerse them in a virtual world where they slaughter "enemies" for 10+ hours a day...particularly if this happens when they are very young...and you may very well create a psychopath.

By the way, for anyone wondering about the last line in his rant: "Make a Change - Kill Yourself" is the name of a death metal band from Europe.
