That’s a link to the Broward County’s School Discipline ‘Agreement” and it’s signed by the Sheriff, State Atty and local judges.
On page 29 it outlines how various behaviors will not result in suspension or expulsion. Instead they receive warnings, lectures and possible detentions.
These infractions include:
Student misbehavior and
these non-violent infractions: (and anything more?)
Disrupting or Interfering with class or school functions
Affray - fighting in a public place
Theft if less than $300
Vandalism if damages under $1,000
Disorderly conduct
Trespassing
Criminal Mischief
Gambling
Loitering
Prowling
Harrassment
Alcohol -all related offenses
Possession of Cannabis
Drug Paraphernalia
Threats
Obstructing Justice w/out Violence
Wow! Try being a teacher under these conditions. Or, God forbid, an eager student who just wants to learn.

A principal objective of the Leftists is to take guns away from law abiding citizens.
In order to accomplish this objective the Leftists create programs like Broward where bad behavior is not punished. One can suggest the Leftist Broward School Leadership wants to create situations whereby kids like Nikolas Cruz shoot a bunch of kids so people will agree to remove the 2nd Amendment.
Furthermore, the Leftist FBI leadership may have intentionally ignored the warnings they received because they want a bad kid to shoot a bunch of people and thus get people to remove the 2nd Amendment.
Furthermore, the Leftist Broward County Sheriff did nothing but send cops 39 times to Nikolas Cruz home. The Sheriff could have used the Baker Act to start the process for mental incarceration. Again, another example of a Leftist letting a bad kid loose to shoot a bunch of people and thus get people to remove the 2nd Amendment.
Politics is the process of accomplishing the impossible. The Leftist leadership involved in creating the Cruz rampage were very successful in subsequently creating an hysteria to get people to remove the 2nd Amendment.

This law needs to be changed. I’m writing a letter to Scott and tomorrow, after I’ve looked it over, I’ll send it.

These NAACP discipline codes or ‘collaborations’ on behavior should be deemed unconstitutional. The state of Florida has laws that apply to all citizens, young or old; male or female; and black or white. The laws can not be waived by one school district or another. It is Sanctuary for criminal youth.
This little agreement is a back-doored policy being pushed nation-wide to lower rates of young black male incarceration and boost HS graduate statistics. Harvard and all the progressives are endorsing this. The damage it is doing to the educational system is reprehensible.
This past tragedy is just one horrendous example. It’s a Willy Horton moment times 20. There is a window of opportunity right here and right now to end this harmful program.
Agree entirely. I’m drafting my letter to Gov Scott now, and I’m going to send it out to some teacher friends to see if they’re interested in doing likewise. Most of our teachers are very sincere and really want to teach and help their kids, but this law has taken their classrooms out of their control and everyone is suffering.

The Africans got exactly what they demanded. Shifting the blame for black behavior and black demands is not what is needed. Africans dug the grave they demanded, now they are resting in it.
Claiming racism deflects the conversation from the breakdown of the family and other cultural issues.
They have instituted a ‘sanctuary ‘ discipline code that violates the law. The state of Florida has laws that are not being enforced at the schools in this district. They are to the detriment of the safety of rest of students and faculty at these schools.
If Nikolas was at the mall drinking booze, smoking pot, carrying drug paraphanalia, and fighting with others he would be arrested and face multiple charges. At school they handle it internally with some nasty scoldings.
There is no catch 22 regarding education. They want to save money or not spend the dollars allocated to the district by the state and federal government for learning disabled and autistic students. Broward was being paid additional funds specifically for Cruz. He was being warehoused instead of treated for years.
They have chosen to mainstream a student with multiple disorders and serious issues. He has been dysfunctional and deadly on their premises. He has endangered their student body for years culminating in a slaughter.
Likewise, at home, the BSO should have arrested him multiple times for assaults, trespassing, curfew, vandalism, voyeurism, destruction of private property, throwing rocks at a moving vehicle (felony), animal abuse, etc.....
They didn’t create this monster, but the system did little or nothing to impede him. They need to be sued and deserve to be grandly.
This asinine NAACP program is ruining the education system and the community.
IIRC Treyvon Martin had drugs and stolen jewelry in his lower. They gave him a few days on the beach and that’s when he was trolling cars and attacked the man who killed him in self defense.

Public schools are becoming more and more entrenched in liberalism and aren’t even pretending to teach any more!
Parents sending their children to public schools these days are committing severe child abuse on those children.

Add to the probability, that the in utero baby was also a drug syndrome baby for some real genetic time bombs besides the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
A couple of decades ago, well off American childless couples rushed to the former USSR countries and paid big $’s to adopt these damaged babies.
Many times the adopted males at about age 13-16 become uncontrollable monsters, probably like their DNA dads did.
The adopted girls often start showing their self destruction behavior shortly after becoming teenagers. They went full bore at 17/18 and left their adopted home to live on the streets with others like them. Many become pregnant and the terrible cycle repeats itself.
Now in the often Fatherless Black Slum American cities, we are seeing the same terrible genetic result in children born to addicted mothers and sired by hostile drug crazed males.
But my student is shooting for a football/basketball career.
