Why would a white nationalist claim a mass murderer as a member? To tar conservatives, because the average moron associates racists with conservative. So we can reasonably hypothesize a couple things:
- white nationalist group leaders are deep state actors?
- white nationalists are NOT part of the political right. They are barely closeted Marxists?
If anyone is “colluding” with the Russians it’s most definitely our MSM and Hollywood.
It was a 4 chan prank that the press fell for.

They weren’t duped. They absolutely loved the idea of the narrative and threw every canon of journalism out the window to print it.

It’s an article of faith, though, now out among liberals, especially those who do less research and more or less following the herd. And it wouldn’t surprise me to have prominent liberals who do know the truth still refer to him as a white supremacist. It’s gratifying and motivating to their base, true or not. The left has become unified in lockstep fashion under their propaganda machine.

Too many people believe the AP to be omniscient. Perhaps this group should be exposed, put faces, names and deeds out there.

Well, they were talking to someone at the “Republic of Florida”, and he appeared to ‘claim’ the shooter. Where, exactly, would you go to cross-check that?
I don’t like defending the AP, but they weren’t just duped, they were lied to.
I guess cosmic justice evens this stuff out. The AP probably deserves this because they have so often run salacious stories with anonymous witnesses. They were more likely to get ‘played’ then with the discussion being off-the-record. Now they got zapped by somebody who was actually on the record. LOL!
If I’m not mistaken, the local sheriff said that his department was very familiar with the group and he wasn’t a member. That could have confirmed/debunked the claim.
They weren’t talking to the head of the ROF directly. The first story I read reported that the ADL provided information about his association with the group to the AP. The ROF guy later claimed to have been confused by the ADL’s questions. It sounds to me that the ADL went looking for a connection and forwarded it to the AP for distribution with ‘credibility’.

It was reported today that younger brother Zachary Cruz was taken to a “mental health facility.” It’s also reported that they had the same mother but different fathers.
As long as they continue to supply the slanted news feed that the newspapers demand, there will be an AP.
