“Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will conduct the review, he said.”

Yeah, that corrupt chunk of dog crap, who worked in both the Xlinton and Obunghole regimes, is the ideal front man for protecting our phony-balony jobs.

Wait, Rosenstein signed off on at least one of the faked FISA requests that led to the unlawful surveillance of the Trump campaign. He shouldn’t be in the Dept. of Justice anymore let alone Acting Attorney General. What is this &%^*&!

I wonder if they’ll check in to the FBI “investigation” of the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012. Like with Cruz, they went to the shooter’s home before it occurred.

“A Newtown resident told the FBI that (Adam’s mother) Nancy Lanza said Adam had once hacked into a government computer system and federal authorities — either FBI or CIA agents — showed up at their door.

“Nancy Lanza told the person that she had to convince the agents that her son was just very intelligent and was challenging himself to see if he could hack into a government system. She said agents told her that if Adam was that smart, HE COULD GET A JOB WITH THEIR AGENCY SOMEDAY.” (emphasis mine)

At the state level, agencies other than the agency accused are usually engaged to investigate accusations of corruption or incompetence. But the feds get to investigate themselves

Waste of time and an insult to the American people.

Apparently if Sessions is playing 4-D chess it was to fake being a right winger long enough to get himself appointed as chief general law enforcement officer, and then lead the defense against being investigated for corruption.

Every thread seems to be a contest for either trashing Sessions, or saying “Nothing will happen anyways...” These posters are either trolls or little whiney $itches.

"Trolls" everywhere. Perhaps you should get Mueller and Rosenstein to help you out with that. Lets get some indictments going.

And weren't you the poster yesterday who didn't know how the Nunes memo implicated Rosenstein?

Yes, that was you.

I called a tip into the FBI office here in Atlanta once about a bunch of Muslims with a Ryder truck that looked suspicious.

I told the lady that I was pretty sure they were speaking Arabic and they were definitely not speaking Spanish. She said “do you think they were speaking Mexican?”. I swear to God you cannot make this stuff up. That’s when I knew the FBI were a bunch of incompetent morons.

“Don’t we all just HOPE that somewhere, behind the scenes, POTUS is having an off the record conversation with Sessions and/or Wray, using raised voices and some profanity?”

Hope in one hand, crap in the other. See which one fills up first.

Been trying to give Sessions the benefit of the doubt, but here he has exposed himself once and for all.

Sessions is a member in good standing of our irredeemably corrupt and depraved political class. He is filth, just like Obunghole, the Hillbilly Whorehopper, the Arkansas Medusa, and all the rest.

It's the Jefferson Beauregard Sessions DOJ.

“Rosenstein will conduct the review”

Unbelievable! I am beginning to think that Sessions is not only weak, stupid and lazy, he is also evil.

What a joke. Do they really believe they have any credibility left with the American people? Furthermore, it was not a ‘screwup,’ but a success for the deep state. Now, if only they can continue to dupe us and maintain their cover.

Within the U.S. Justice Department, oversight of the FBI is actually one of the Deputy AG’s responsibilities.

Conducting a review! Wow! Sessions is getting tough now! You just better watch out, because a few guys are going to be sending really strong letters telling the FBI guys that they are about to be reviewed (and asking them what days they were available, if it’s not too inconvenient).

So...how many people read that with Jeff Sessions voice/accent? It just sounds like him. :)

“It is now clear that the warning signs were there and tips to the FBI were missed. We see the tragic consequences of those failures”

“The FBI in conjunction with our state and local partners must act flawlessly to prevent all attacks. This is imperative, and we must do better.”

(sigh)....It really IS going to take CW 2.0 to fix the mess, isn’t it?

I can't think of any other way to compel the troublemaking people to leave. They are too deeply imbedded to easily dislodge with "elections" and "housecleaning". We're going to have to throw something at them that they actually fear.
