Report: Court to release documents from Bill Clinton probe Federal court is reportedly set to unseal long-secret documents stemming from former Independent Counsel Ken Starr's investigation into then-President Bill Clinton; reaction and analysis from former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. A federal judge has ordered the unsealing of documents from then-Independent Counsel Ken Starr’s two-decade old probe that led to former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia granted the order Monday in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from CNN. According to the judge’s order, CNN journalist Katelyn Polantz requested on Feb. 9, 2018 that eight sealed matters arising from Starr’s 1998 investigation of Clinton “be unsealed and made public.”

Starr’s investigation opens with the suicide of Vince Foster and the Clintons’ Whitewater deal in Arkansas.
It later was expanded to include accusations of sexual misconduct and perjury, including Clinton’s sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office. .

The request from CNN includes testimony from former Clinton aides and advisers Bruce Lindsey, Sidney Blumenthal, Nancy Hernreich, Lanny Breuer and Terry Lenzner, as well as testimony from the Secret Service. It also requests other White House documents, in addition to a presidential subpoena.
The FOIA request from CNN indicated the documents could be relevant to procedures for obtaining testimony in special counsel Robert Mueller’s current Russia probe.
It’s not clear when the documents will be released, but Howell ordered them available to the public “promptly.”

I remember that too and have always wondered what happened to the evidence. I cannot remember the name of the building it was stored in. Maybe the Rayburn building?

I wonder if this is a reminder to the Clintons, Hillary in particular that they are not welcome to participate in certain DNC functions.

Well, I recall that someone has taken some cell phone shots of the evidence regarding Monica and it is much more salacious and gross than what had already been disclosed. Assuming those photos of Monica’s testimony were authentic- hold on to your seats.
Comey probably inserted some fake “dossier” type document in there to slam Trump, and now CNN will “stumble” on it.
