Brzezinski was a lot higher up the food chain than Brennan or Obama at that time. The only possible connection I can see is that Obama's mother may have done some work for the Agency or U.S. government in Pakistan later (in 1987 to 1992) and this may have been somehow related to Obama's 1981 Pakistan visit, which included a visit to Ahmed Mian Soomro, a member of the Pakistani Senate and future Acting President of Pakistan and Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan during Obama’s administration.
