LAKELAND, FL (The Miami Herald) – Pleading guilty to putting lye in sauce led to a seven-year prison sentence for a Florida restaurant worker — and possibly more punitive action at the federal level.
Margarito Padilla began serving his sentence Monday, according to Florida Department of Corrections records.
On Tuesday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Tampa office filed a detainer on the 54-year-old Guadalajara, Mexico, native, meaning ICE wants to know when Padilla finishes doing his time.... [snip]

If it had not been for the boss taste-testing the contaminated Yum-Yum sauce, the results would have been disastrous and potentially lethal to those who ate at this restaurant.

Spiking the food happens all the time in restaurants. The caliber of people they hire are capable of anything. And this industry has hired hundreds of thousands of low wage illegals. Cops and white folks are the biggest targets. In fact, if I were a cop, I would not order anything while in uniform. Of course, most probably know this by now.

Margarito needs to be set out in the nearest swamp on a styrofoam raft the next full moon midnight with his hands tied behind his back instead of languishing in a posh air-conditioned lock-up with three squares and fresh linens at the taxpayers’ expense. See if the gators like Mexican.
He was a hard worker with strong family values. I know because the the Booshes and TV told me so.

I am doubtful that a ‘citizens go to jail, illegal aliens get a free trip home’ policy towards crime is going to serve us well.
