FBI-gate: The Outlines of the Story Are Coming into Focus
American Thinker.com ^ | February 13, 2018 | Thomas Lifson

Thanks to the work of smart and hardworking (non-mainstream) journalists, we can peek just a bit over the horizon and see where the story of the weaponization of the FBI via a senior-level cabal is going from here. I use the word "story" deliberately, because that is the way public opinion forms itself on major political affairs. The progressives in the media and politics have long understood this. The cast of the story is now set, and some dramatic plot points have been identified. The ending hasn't been written yet, of course, but the villains are identifying themselves or being exposed, and some of the heroes are emerging. We are on the cusp of a drama much bigger than Watergate breaking open, and its story elements are compelling.

In the calm before the storm breaks, the mainstream media and the Democrat attack squad from the House Intel committee [i] are in the midst of utterly discrediting themselves. Once the story breaks into the open, indictments will be handed down, and the witnesses, hostile and cooperating, will be heard in hearings and in court. They have worked together to cover up and distract from the story, but the truth will out, and now it is becoming clear how that will happen.

The fake controversy over the ten-page Schiff memo is keeping the morale of the #resistance crowd up, but Schiff himself will go down in history as the guy who kicked sand in the eyes of the investigators. All that media effort in pushing the phony narrative of Russia collusion will make them into dupes and laughingstocks, once the solid evidence is brought to light that a conspiracy to push that phony narrative was run with key members of the Clinton machine working hand in glove with the cabal.

There are still quite a few gaps that need to be filled in.

The most important gap is just what did the FBI learn from their surveillance? My guess is that there was nothing improper, or it would have certainly leaked by now. As much as the FBI has been under attack, it would be irresistible to not push back.

Another large gap is the extent of the unmasking that took place by Susan Rice and Samantha Power. We have the logs that show they did it, but we have no idea what or who was involved.

I think the Obama administration intelligence staff, and the upper level of the FBI were pretty arrogant, and they didn't cover much of their tracks. But once Trump won, they went into a complete "clean-up". But with electronic messages, and back-ups, cleaning up is limited. And as we see with the newly revealed Susan Rice email, sometimes the CYA raises more questions than the cover it provides.

So, if we have a good idea that Comey managed the sting operation on Trump, who was it that managed the cover-up?

Sessions recused himself from this, correct? And Rosenstein signed a fisa apllication, so he is conflicted. The #3 chic just resigned. So who the hell is going to indict?

We have a conflicted, useless doj.

The evidence won’t make them into dupes and laughingstocks so much as it will reveal them to be those things.

If they make this story into a movie, I hope they don’t leave out the part where we may never have learned any of it except for a weiner sexting a teenager.

If that changed the election, he literally changed what history books will say about the Obama administration as well as the future of our country. We wouldn’t have learned any of this if Hillary won. Weiner could be the hero of the story (if a bad guy can unintentionally be the hero).

The point of the story is that there is one bird that hasn’t chirped, or leaked, or been heard from, or mentioned throughout all this and his name is Bill Priestap. Judge Pirro mentions him though, to a Congressman, and he about chokes. Also - when does a bird sing? Everything has meaning. [I]

Thus, we have a panicky media pushing all things ROB PORTER, and revving up the ME TOO movement against Trump, as the vie for the women’s vote in the mid-terms.

Kitchen Sink media against Trump hitting another gear.

This is like Watergate, only instead of the FBI investigating the crime, the FBI is committing the crime.

There are still quite a few gaps that need to be filled in.

I think we are still to see the conduit of surveillance intelligence (of things unrelated to Russia) from the FBI back to their deep-state friends.

If it turns out that ALL OF IT was concocted by Clinton and Comey, with tacit approval from Obama, then I think that Sessions' recusal was made under false pretenses and should be rescinded.

Sessions should unrecuse himself and get going on rebuilding the Justice Department.

This is like Watergate, only instead of the FBI investigating the crime, the FBI is committing the crime.

Lying to the FBI is a crime.

The FBI is allowed to lie.

The FBI lied to the FBI.

Illogical... Illogical...

If the FBI lied, it is not a crime. But if it lied to the FBI, it is a crime. But it is not a crime for the FBI to lie. But lying to the FBI is a crime...

It does not compute...

Really. A criminal conspiracy that runs right up through Brennan and Clapper, into the Oval Office and includes everyone along the way but the REALLY BIG story right now is a WH aide hit his wife ten years ago. The heads that need to roll are the Brown Shirt Media.
