A special election for the position of Florida House of Representatives District 72 has been called for February 13, 2018. A special primary election was called for December 5, 2017. The candidate filing deadline was September 29, 2017.[10]
The seat became vacant following Alexandra Miller’s (R) resignation.[11]
The candidates who successfully qualified were Democrats Margaret Good and Ruta Jouniari, Republican James Buchanan, and Libertarian Alison Foxall.[12]
