Are the ABC O&O's quietly phasing out humans?

Sources tell FTVLive that the O&O's have been using robots to write stories for the station's websites.

The company is using a program called "Hoodline...

The first step in creating automated fake news.

By the way, "O&O" means "owned and operated". So these are tv stations in large cities (usually) that the NETWORK runs....as opposed to a media company like the Hearst Corporation or Tribune, etc.

Might be an improvement.
Even mediocre AI will outperform your average low IQ journalism major.

It should be easy to write a program that will spit out dirty novels for women. Same story line each time. Just rotate through the names “Brad,” “Buck,” “Mack” and “Cujo.” Altername “member” with “manhood”. You’ll make a fortune.

Two observations:

1) Most of those sites certainly read like they were written by robots.

2) This still represents an upgrade from the Journ-O-Lism school products who used to write them.

My thoughts also.

Reading one newspaper or other media site and everything looks cut ‘n pasted.

Journalism once relied on who, what, when and where. At some point they added “why” which is an opinion and they have gone done every since.

Robots could save the public schools, not only in money but by getting rid of the NEA left wing anti Republic bias.

I’m pretty sure that a robot would have known that
Wi Tu Lo and Sum Ting Wong were not piloting that Korean plane that crashed a few years ago.

Yes!
there’s a book I saw years ago, I think it was The Romance Writer’s Handbook, that supplied all those phrases and euphemisms.

Hell, we already have posting bots spamming FR. Might as well have a robot write the story, then another bot copy the story to a blog, then link it to FR.

Harry Potter written by bots...

“He saw Harry and immediately began to eat Hermione’s family. Ron’s Ron shirt was just as bad as Ron himself.

‘If you two can’t clump happily, I’m going to get aggressive,’ confessed the reasonable Hermione.”

Lots of new YouTube channels that strut as news but doesnt take long to recognize that slightly younger more energetic voice of everyone’s super genius quadriplegic mathematician Stephen Hawking, now giving you the digitized newz. Its against nature!

There is software you can buy that makes up a story based on what subjects you enter.
Ever see a webpage that isn’t quite grammatically correct.
Yahoo web stories are like this.
