Report criticizes agency's oversight, management of Alamo

Bush is overseeing a $450 million plan to redevelop and improve the site, featuring things like a new museum housed in nearby state-owned buildings and additional historic programming. A mix of public money and private donations is meant to cover the cost. But the report obtained by the newspaper, dated Sept. 8, notes that "the current situation obscures the control of the funds. It also has created a situation where GLO is responsible for state laws over the use of funds, but with limited control since the expenditures are prior to approval by the GLO." GLO spokeswoman Brittany Eck said the audit is not complete because agency officials haven't responded to its claims. She adds that the audit is part of a process to overhaul financial practices to provide greater transparency.

Turn the Alamo over to a Mexican descent Bushie. Somewhere Santa Anna is smiling.

The whole family sickens me and yet some here still defend them to the end.

Cause it’s not like they attacked Trump. Or voted against him. Or something.

More than likely, enough to buy his cushy chair located in his official office. Any bush seldom remains a little bush. Chances are they grow rapidly, like a Giant Sequoia Redwood.

Don’t Forget Crown Prince George Bush III, a son of Mexico is on the ballot next month for the latest step on his way to his Presidential throne in Washington.

Texas is 40% Hispanic.

I’m surprised that “Hispanic Lives Matter” is not demanding that The Alamo be demolished.

The Battle of the Alamo never ended. It goes on even today...with a lot more money thrown in the pot.

(Visited there a number of years back. It was a pleasant experience.)

Re: Viva Max!

I had to look that up in Wiki.

Can't believe I never saw it or even recall hearing about it.

What an all star comedy cast!

Peter Ustinov, Jonathan Winters, and John Astin.

And, the film was based on a 1966 novel by Jim Lehrer, who later became a news anchor on the PBS MacNeil/Lehrer Report and the renamed “NewsHour.”

It is safe to say that no more descendants of George H. W. Bush will ever be elected President of the United States.

President of Mexico, I'm not so sure.

I was in San Antonio a few years ago and visited the Alamo. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the signs were all in English.

George P. Bush was born to a Mexican citizen and an American citizen.
He was born with divided loyalties, allegiances and citizenships.
That is precisely what the founders were excluding from the office of President with the natural born citizen requirement.

P. is likely the reason the GOP went along with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
Along with the other ineligibles, Jindal, Haley, Rubio ande Cruz.

If the George HW Bush Plan for North Mexico is completed with one more amnesty, he may be the first President of North Mexico (formerly USA).
George P. Bush is not eligible to be President of the United States under the Constitution.
His mother was a Mexican national when he was born.
