The Democrats want illegals to stay and become Dim voters. The Republicans have been told by their owners that the US needs cheap labor (see GWB above). Both of them see illegal immigration as something that needs to be legalized. Trump saw it as something we need to stop. He got elected.

I do thank and welcome legal immigrants. But criminals? No. Illegals are . . . breaking the law . . . doing a bad thing . . . I don’t know how to express that so even big government liberals and other members of the self-proclaimed elite would understand, but it’s something obvious to decent people. Those of us who work for a living respect and follow the law. It offends us when those who break the law are rewarded for committing crimes.
All illegals should be deported. No exceptions. If we need people from other countries to pick our vegetables or cotton, or to take care of our yards and build our homes and roads, they should come here legally. Otherwise, they should all be deported - and fined the cost of immigration law enforcement. No exceptions.

Bush League Republicans have been flooding the country with foreigners against the will of the citizens for 30 years while preventing US from stopping them.
The last time I criticized this guy, I almost got banned.

No. There really aren’t. Even at higher wages. I know that sugar cane is usually picked by workers from the Caribbean. Because it is near impossible to find local people who will pick it. That is why there is a legal means of bringing in temporary workers. If businesses are not verifying status of workers they should be charged and fined accordingly.
