Viktor Orbán has vowed to put “Hungary first” and fight those within the European Union who “want to change the Christian identity of Europe”.
Echoing U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s “America First” rallying cry, conservative Prime Minister Orbán has hit out at Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel who said that Central European countries would be forced to accept migrants in terms described by Hungary’s ruling Fidesz party as “extortion”.
“The presidency of Fidesz has discussed yesterday the announcement of the Belgian Prime Minister, that they will – if necessary with force – obligate Central European countries, including Hungary, to accept migrants,” the Hungarian Prime Minister said in a Facebook video on Wednesday.
“According to their plan, this will happen in June at the summit of the prime ministers in Brussels.
“Our presidency has taken a stand: we cannot give in to extortion. For us, Hungary is first.
“We will fight those who want to change the Christian identity of Hungary and Europe.”
In an interview with Belgian news site Le Soir, Prime Minister Michel spoke about sending “an ultimatum” to the Visegrád countries which “reject solidarity”.
The ultimatum would be that if a consensus is not reached at the June European Council, then planned reforms would be adopted with a qualified majority vote which would overrule dissenters (other anti-mass migration, pro-sovereignty nations).
In response to Michel’s comments, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said, “Hungary will not become an immigrant country, has never admitted, and will never admit illegal immigrants” at a press conference on Tuesday.

And if, by luck, Europe actually repels the barbarian horde, it will go down in the liberal history books as the Second Great Crusade.

Think of the history of Hungary, then wonder how far the west has fallen.
The peoples of the Danube set the world-wide standard as the pinnacle of artistic civilization and wealth.
With a broader stroke to include the Holy Roman Empire (the first thousand-year Reich) this civilization achieved things never before dreamed of, and rarely since.
Now that the leaders and peoples of Austria, Hungary, Poland, Czech and Slovakia are again aligned, we may have hope for Europe.
France, Germany and Italy may again end up as the backwaters of civilized Europe.
Hopefully the HUNS will save Europe this time.

We have more in common with the Poles, Czechs and others than we do with the Brits, Germans, French, and the rest of Western Europeans.
I hold out hope that the Poles, with Hungary and the Czechs and the Balkan States, may yet save Europe from its stupidity. If they can hold out against allowing muslimization of their countries, they will remain prosperous and strong. When the rest of Europe collapses, and then inevitably picks fight with the remaining Christian and white bastions, there will be an epic fight for the soul of Europe. Maybe half the people in western Europe will side with the East. One would hope. It would be a liberation of the west, not a conquest. And following, expulsion of an incompatible parasite within.
Most likely that will not happen (let’s not forget that France and the UK have nukes) but it is the best chance Europe has to remain Europe in 50 years.

And there’s McCrazy in free republic trying to convince us that eastern europe is full of far right Nazis, french anti-trump frogs are America’s loyal friends.
Orban is fantastic. All the former eastern bloc nations are doing so much better than the western Europeans in this regard.
