Not only will it showcase our brave military men and women, and our military strength to the country and to the world, it also could be a message to the Deep State criminals. His call for it also a message to the Democrats that another government shutdown and a lack of a budget hurts the military, while they wail and moan over their precious "Dreamers."

That could be a good reason, but I think he just got really impressed by the French parade and wanted one.
