Trump did not issue this executive order serendipitously:

He was not complaining about the lack of applause to his speech or him- he was complaining at the lack of support shown for this country. As he said we are under one flag, it is one country. If they don’t support things that are improving, things that we should be celebrating as Americans- then it does seem like they don’t support the country. There were many things in the SOTU they could have supported, without supporting him. They didn’t.
I don’t think the Democrats have supported the country for a long, long time- no matter who the President is- even when Obama was in office, constant stream of what is wrong with this country from the Democrats. I think they truly want to destroy the country and rebuild according to their wishes. People who truly love this country, are proud- and want to always improve. There is a difference between seeing issues that need work and seeing only the worst, none of the best.
Trump is pointing out that the Leftists in that audience refused to applaud things in his speech that REAL Americans would applaud, and that Democrats would NORMALLY applaud if he weren’t the President. Things in his speech:
Civil rights
Veterans care
Rebuilding the military
Combating the opioid epidemic
Federal hiring freeze
Five-year ban on lobbying by executive branch officials
Cutting regulations
Supporting the Keystone and Dakota Access pipelines, and using American steel
Coal miners going back to work
Women entrepreneurs
Task force to reduce crime, dismantle cartels
Enforcing immigration laws, targeting criminals
Protecting the U.S. from radical Islamic terrorism
Tax reform
Incentives for companies to stay in the U.S.
Creating new jobs
Black unemployment at all time low
Switching to a merit-based immigration system
Clean air, clean water
Supporting law enforcement
Ryan Owens, the Navy SEAL killed in a raid in Yemen in January
Affordable Care Act, five principles for replacement
Rare diseases and the drug approval process

Accessible childcare
Paid family leave
Women’s health
Education, especially school choice
NATO, especially on covering its share of costs
Refugees and displaced persons, and the need for them to be able to return home
Yes I have read things that sound as though actual treason by anyone’s standards may have been happening on the Democrat side of the aisle and it didn’t involve clapping or not clapping. If proven things will get interesting in a hurry.

He thought he was dealing with somewhat rational people who can think for themselves. Instead, he was confronted by the collusion of the Democrat mob, who react only to orders from their masters - they don’t have any room in their ranks for independent thinkers.
Well, DoodleDawg is certainly correct that many conservatives wouldn’t have stood up and clapped at a lot of the things Obama touted...
...but it is also true that we view many of those things Obama viewed as “accomplishments” as highly corrosive and destructive to our country.
And rightfully so.
The same can’t be said of any of those things I listed in the top part of my previous post...those are things every American should hope for.

Because they don't applaud him? Then does that mean during all of Obama's State of the Union addresses where the Republicans sat on their hands then were they not supporting the country either?
