I know this one has been explained away before - but he still had no need to make this assertion that doesn’t match the original “photo-op” story - everybody on earth was aware of the photo! Even I know this argument better than to make that statement! Not a boost to his credibility. The minute that came out of his mouth - I was like 10..9...8...7...just matter of minutes before this clip makes it to CNN...and that’s what happened!

The question here is that -

Do those filing for surveillance warrant in the FISC on Carter Page KNEW the nature and $ source of Steele dossier? If they knew, why didn’t they disclose it to the presiding judge?

That is because they knew for sure, if they DID disclose all the ties of DNC & Hillary campaign to the central piece of evidence they had, their FISA warrant would be turned down.

Writing an obscure ‘political source’ in a footnote to the rest of us seems to be FBI KNOWINGLY CYA.

If Chait wasn’t one of those on the CIA payroll he was definitely getting cheated.

"Of course the judge, and everyone else involved, knew."

Yes everyone gives the FISA court a pass, as if they were totally hoodwinked. I think it's BS. Page wasn't even a volunteer at the time this warrant was granted. What data was collected from his past meta data. Remember John Roberts oversees this kangaroo court?

Well, according to Jeff Sessions; “Nobody’s perfect.”

Seriously, though, Nunes has addressed this. Yes, he shouldn’t have said it, but that’s water over the dam, and he did address what he meant.

The statement, now addressed by what he meant in his own words, does not cancel out the truth the Memo exposes.

That just means they were giving corrupt FISA “judges” some “plausible deniability”....McCabes statement (as he was being “interviewed” that the dossier was “largely accurate” is another sign of hedging to hide treason out in the open....

Time to show the article again how Obama failed to appoint Inspector Generals as watchdogs. Left the positions vacant.

No IG for State Dept the entire time Hillary was SOS.

The scumbag democrats only support corrupt law enforcement who are doing their dirty work for them. Otherwise they attack and despise law enforcement.

"Why the hell did the FBI present a dossier from a British MI-6 spy as evidence?"

Why did the FBI have to pay for a female British explosives expert witness at the McVeigh trial -- instead of standing up one or more of its FBI Explosives Lab experts?

V. Conclusion

"Williams' report contains several serious flaws. His opinion as to the VOD of the main charge was unjustifiable; his statement of the VOD of ANFO was incomplete; his categorical identification of the main charge as ANFO was inappropriate; his estimate of the weight of the main charge was too specific and based in part on improper grounds; his conclusion as to the containers for the main charge was unjustifiably categorical; his categorical identification of the initiator for the booster was improper; his conclusions concerning a non-electric detonator, the fuse, and the time delay were scientifically insupportable; his conclusions were not supported by the contents of the report; and he included some AE dictation in a selective or confusing way. These errors were all tilted in such a way as to incriminate the defendants. We are troubled that the opinions in Williams' report may have been tailored to conform to the evidence associated with the defendants. We conclude that Williams failed to present an objective, unbiased, competent report."

Bottom line: the DOJ DOIG said the FBI were sloppy -- and lying to get a conviction -- at any cost.

~~~~~~~~~
Disclaimer I believe that McVeigh & Nichols were guilty and both deserved execution. The above is merely to point out one of the many examples of the FBI "dirty cops mode" actions at OKC...
I have read that the warrant for Carter Page is a Title 1 warrant, not a section 702 warrant. I saw msnbc claim that Nunes is a hypocrite because he urged renewal of section 702. I think section 702 needs some changes too, but maybe better would be having all congresscritters actually to support the Constitution.
