Well, that may be true, but doesn’t the GOP have anybody who can do a little quality control? Is there a Republican Party there at all? If so, they should never have allowed this guy to run.
But that’s one of the GOP’s biggest problems - no party unity or discipline. You can be a raving Socialist from New England, a desert-state egomaniac with brain cancer, or a neo-Nazi. At least the Dems are uniformly America-hating Marxists so you know where they’re coming from.

Is this embarrassing ahole really the very best candidate the R party can find? She-it! One nominee like this would be seized on by the DNC nationally to utterly discredit the entire republican campaign all across America. We are cringing just thinking what the D commercials , ads would look like — all the way up to the presidential race. I’d much rather see the R party just concede this one office and skip nominating anyone if the best they can do is to run a Nazi. And not incidentally, almost all the bigotry and hate that’s been injected into our politics has come from the left. But no matter, if the R’s actually run this guy, all that D party machine prejudice will be projected to smear the republicans - a R candidate like this would be the DNC’s wet dream - a great big rescue rope for the D’s sinking political ship. Alas! The R’s just have to find somebody better!

Can the truth be somewhere between? Hitler hated to death everyone who didn’t fit his Aryan fantasy mold. Including Jews. Hence the infamous Shoah. As well as a broader genocide.
But then there is no humanitarian tragedy, it seems, without some huckster to capitalize on it, to the benefit of those who didn’t even suffer. And even among Jews the Shoah business has reached its own tragic measure.
Yikes, how did such a nut cake get on the GOP ballot? The local party there must be pretty thin on talent and supporters. He is a big gift to the Illinois Democrat party to smear all Republicans.

Oh my, yes. And the number of vanished are way beyond what the Nazis officially recorded as killing in camps. It might be the latter that our dear Mr. Jones refers to. But who particularly believes Nazis?

He wasn’t recruited or ‘found.’ He just signed up to run, there’s nothing to stop him from declaring his candidacy. The most they could do, probably, is refuse to endorse. I wish someone would come up with a remedy.

PS I have seen clear and convincing evidence so that I think people who deny mass extermination by the SS happened must be at least a little cray-cray.
The deniers raise questions like:
Why go to the trouble of tattooing people you plan to take from directly from the train off-loading to the gas chambers,
Zyklon B was used for delousing, there wasn’t enough Prussian blue staining to evidence the use claimed,
Why were Zyklon canisters found at camps without chambers,
Why were there no holes found in the roofs of the gas chambers,
Why would they use Zyklon, an insecticide when they had chlorine and mustard gas from the first war,
If so many were killed, why are there so many survivors,
and other questions that might make you stop and think if you are so inclined or predisposed.
