Aren’t we supposed to think that health insurance companies’ making money is bad? Bad, bad, big insurance companies?

When did that change to good, good, big insurance company profits?

Would someone please produce a global scorecard so I don’t have to walk around in a fuddle, unclear regarding whom I should love or hate, what outcomes are good or bad?

well good for aetna.

now maybe they can lower our insurance rates back down to pre obamacare.

would save me about 9k/year. i will not hold my breath for these thieves to do it though.

Hey Aetna, want to make Connecticut happy, with that $800M, buy the Carolina Hurricanes and move them to Hartford. 😀

Best part of my switching jobs ten years ago was getting away from Aetna. What a nightmare.

CT is a small state and can only afford one professional sports team. The UCONN Women.

My thought exactly! I thought maybe they should not publicize this; it sounds like gloating.

Huh. I didn’t realize workers weren’t beneficiaries of corporate profits. Thanks Dr. Sowell.

The primary purpose of any corporation is to maximize profits. Employees are an expense. Money going to them is money not going to profits. Therefore there is no reason to believe that the additional $800 million in profits should translate into higher salaries or better benefits.
