Aetna (AET) projected Tuesday that President Donald Trumps tax overhaul will increase the companys gross 2018 adjusted earnings by about $800 million.

The primary purpose of any corporation is to maximize profits. Employees are an expense. Money going to them is money not going to profits. Therefore there is no reason to believe that the additional $800 million in profits should translate into higher salaries or better benefits.
