Reid's comments referred to Trump's mention of the gang in the State of the Union -- the part of the address where he acknowledged the family. Another pair of parents who also had a child that fell victim to MS-13, Evelyn Rodriguez and Freddy Cuevas, were in attendance and received recognition.

Alvarado also spoke about meeting with Trump prior to the State of the Union. She praised Trump as "very genuine" and a "very nice president."
Mickens reacted to black Democrats refusing to stand when Trump mentioned the murder of his daughter.
"Well, I thought it was very disrespectful for the simple fact the Democrats who were there that did not stand up, they were African-Americans. So that hurts me a lot to show they did not have the respect or to honor what just happened to our lives and to Americans' lives..."

On the other hand, it's demonic. It's so destructive. It's hard for me to fathom their mindset.
Can you imagine a world with the likes of them in charge? Yikes! It’s bad enough that three of them hold office.
1. Pass constitutional carry for all concealed carrying Americans.
2. Illegal aliens caught voting in our elections get immediately deported.
3. Put a bounty on all MS13, dead or alive.
It’s not the race. It’s the mindset.
They got theirs. Eff the rest of us.
I could sign on to those three points.
You summarized the Dems correctly - and it sounds like you’re coming around to understanding them. And keep mind you can NEVER apply our values to them...they are simply alien to them.
I believe I have understood them for a very long time. I don’t understand why they are that way, really. But I do understand they ARE that way. But it/they are getting worse, day by day, year by year. Some day something will have to give.

Dear President Trump.
First, I want to thank you for the outstanding job that you are doing. I voted for you chiefly because you infuriated all of the people that I oppose -the media (Who I have called the, “Enemedia,” since 2003), the liberals, and those who want to use our great nation as a way to pay for the world’s mistakes with taxpayers’ monies.
I have not been disappointed in any way.
Now, about the FISA memo...
People are screaming in the conservative circles this question: “Where are the handcuffs?”
If the roles were reversed, and Hillary had won the election and this information came out, your opponents would be calling for blood.

That absolutely disgusts me at every level.
In 1993, I took an oath to protect and defend the constitution of my country. This oath has NO expiration date.
You have always maintained your oath of office to do the same. For that, I thank you.
I shall have your back, as will millions of other military veterans nationwide.
Also, please give Mrs. Sarah Huckabee Sanders a huge pat on the back for the awesome job that she has been doing. I look forward to every press conference posted to your YouTube channel.

My hours are a bit goofed up right now. I get anxiety and insomnia sometimes, and that happening a little within the last two weeks goofed up my hours. But I'm a natural night owl anyway. Plus the state of our union is so much on my mind right now. I know there's nothing I can do, but I posted tonight to relish that Trump is our president and shine a spotlight on some of the evil the Dems do. Not that there isn't already plenty of that here, but I needed to add some of my light to it for catharsis.
