I would like to know when are they going to arrest Stephen paddock? The guy on the floor wasn’t him no matter how many times the FBI says it was.

This IS NOT an arrest in relation to the shooting in Las Vegas.

The reporter specifically says it isn’t in her report.

I think it’s highly dubious that what this guy did was illegal.

"Selling or manufacturing AP rounds requires a license?"

Yes, if handgun ammunition meets the definition in the Armor Piercing Ammunition Ban, aka "Cop Killer Bullet Ban".

The shooter did not use the armor piercing rounds. They were found in the hotel room.

Paddock most likely never fired a single shot. The question remains when are they going to arrest any of the assassins who tried to take out one of the Saudis crown princes. Chances are better than good that those assassins are long gone, and probably some of them were killed in the process. But they are still feeding the public the same warmed over crap about Paddock. Politics and deception as always...

Yup!

The Feds realized that their stupid:

“LONE Super sucessful video poker player spontaneously GETS MAD and shoots 500 people JUST CUZ”-story juuuuust wasn’t going to cut it; few people were going to believe it.

They detected a public suspicion that there was something BIGGER.

So the Feds decided to trundle out SOMETHING bigger...!

So they get this AMMO guy who in all likelihood DID sell specialty ammo, perhaps to Paddock at some point, does or did have a TS clearance, did or does have a SOCOM connection.

They’re going to throw him and maybe also Paddock’s GF onto the BBQ and see if that bigger meal satisfied us:

ANYTHING to keep us away from the “Feds were (responsibly) trying to bust Middle-Eastern baddies but got burned themselves” truth.

LOTS of eerie parallels to Oklahoma City, many years ago. Just as then, this time, too, they’re okay throwing their field operative away as the pawn he is, rather then getting burned themselves.

The Feds think that people would think the Feds CAUSED it if they let people get ahold of the Sting Gone Bad reality, and that would cause their prestige to do down:

Pretty laughable considering the (dossier) earth now moving under their feet, right..?

This is an almost never used charge.

Only pistol armor piercing pistol ammunition is regulated.

Very strange that this guy is targeted.

At least he has a good attorney. Marc Victor is quite good.

I have corresponded with him.

I suspect a very broad interpretation of the license requirements for making ammunition.

Forgot: Just as in OKC, my guess is that with the Mandalay Massacre ALL the video evidence will disappear in a poof.

Hey why do you think the Fed arms stingers suggested a freaking CASINO as a flash ‘n shop venue..?

For logistics:

The casino would as a matter of course (even if unwittingly) collect video for Fed review from over 1,000 cameras.

The baddies were okay with it cuz Paddock’s in-country services would be sparing them the pain of importing the weapons for their abortive HIT upstairs in the Mandalay, err..Four Seasons, whoops..!

Besides, after discovering Paddock’s actual role for Da Gummint (via Hillary? Obama?), they were okay burning their supplier Paddock, since they wouldn’t be using HIM again, right..?

They were trying to prevent the ascension of a reformer to the Saudi throne, something disastrous to Arab fundamentalists all over the Middle East.

Just Paddock...?

No way.

Oh, so it's the fault of this guy ALSO...?

I dunno if he's totally clean, but the idea he wanted 500 people SHOT is ridiculous.

I think the feds are making him guilty also simply cuz they realize their Lone Shooter story somehow wasn't cutting it.

May he have broken some minor laws? Sure.

Will we have to keep debunking the claim that the Mandalay Bay Massacre was the highest-casualty mass shooting in US history until the heat death of the universe?

I agree. They still need to bring in Stephen Paddock for questioning. Such as: Why are you not dead??

“Armor-piercing ammunition.” A 1986 law prohibited the manufacture or importation of “armor piercing ammunition,” defined as “a projectile or projectile core which may be used in a handgun and which is constructed entirely (excluding the presence of traces of other substances) from one or a combination of tungsten alloys, steel, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium copper, or depleted uranium.” The 1994 crime bill added to the definition, “a full jacketed projectile larger than .22 caliber designed and intended for use in a handgun and whose jacket has a weight of more than 25 percent of the total weight of the projectile.”
