In President Trump’s “State of the Union” (SOTU) address on Tuesday, the president said his “bipartisan approach to immigration reform” will offset an amnesty for potentially millions of illegal aliens by ending chain migration and the Diversity Visa Lottery program.

As Breitbart News has reported, Trump’s immigration plan — crafted by a slew of White House advisers — does not immediately end the importation of foreign relatives who are mostly low-skilled. The White House plan, instead, would allow for the entire potentially 4 million chain migrants waiting in the backlog to enter the country. This process could take 10 to 20 years before America’s working and middle class see reduced legal immigration levels to help their wages rise.

The dimoKKKRATS are not going to agree to anything President Trump proposes on immigration. They just want it to be a campaign issue. They do not want to solve it.
Man, Breitbart is having a conniption fit over this. It doesn’t matter to them that the Dems still rejected this and it would never pass the House anyway assuming if it even comes to a vote. All Trump did was expose the hypocrisy and true colors of the Dems on DACA and on immigration overall.
Too many, via chain and via DACA, are being given a free pass.
Also, good changes are implemented much too slowly, as though Democrats and the GOPe would let them go through in future years if they had the power to stop them.
I understand that this proposal has been turned down by the NAZI party already.
So that part of the speech was purely a political gotcha moment.
I agree, however, just in case this is more than just a head-fake by President Trump, we need to push back on this part of the so-called deal.
I don’t like what I’m hearing about the “Four Pillars of Immigration Reform”. Sounds like as long as MS-13’s aren’t coming in he’s fine with everyone else. Why this same Democrat mantra all over again? We need enforcement for the laws already on the books. He said so in his campaign. Now he’s not saying it anymore. He’s on board with “reform”. Make them citizens in 12 years. Where have we heard that one before? And all the “bipartisan compromising”. Everything for the illegals and the Democrats and NOTHING for the American citizen. How many times have we heard we were going to get a wall? Then he says this is all being done to strengthen American families. WTH?
It’s the best plan that you could get from the efforts of any president, administration or congress! If you want any conservative progress at all, get conservative members of Congress elected in your district and state this year to support the President!

End the illegal DACA program.
Enforce the laws.
Remove ALL illegal aliens.
We can s_hit in one hand and wish in another. The REALITY of our current political system requires some compromise, much like a rocky marriage trying to survive.
Breitbart has lost sight of that REALITY.
If McConnel were to actually get a spine transplant AND grow a pair of balls, then we would get our wishes. All of them. But our President knows that ain’t gonna happen.
To Cruz, Breitbart, and all the NeverTrump cheerleaders, it’s time to wake up and embrace a bit of incrementalism that the left has used for decades. We aren’t going to get everything under the Christmas Tree TOMORROW.
I don’t, he’s not going to sign any bad deals.
Doesn’t matter if the Dems accept it. It will never pass the House because people like me will be storming their Congressman in D.C. demanding that he/she vote against it. And the Dems will never accept anything that limits chain migration and building of the wall.
My fear is that he is getting some bad advice from people that he has placed his trust in.

We currently have just 4 Senators on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
Cotton, Cruz, Grassley and Perdue.

Well, I guess I'll be single and lonely then. Because any deal with the Dems, they will undo years from now through the federal courts and through their kook activist front groups.
Better to just enforce existing laws and let the Army Corp of Engineers build the wall. Because I really don't give a damn about the "dreams" of "kids" who flooded the country in 2015 thanks to Obama and pretended to be these adorable toddlers.
