Victor Davis Hanson: Hillary’s ‘Sure’ Victory Explains Most Everything
NRO ^ | Victor Davis Hanson

Hillary Clinton herself was not worried about even the appearance of scandal caused by transmitting classified documents over a private home-brewed server, or enabling her husband to shake down foreign donations to their shared foundation, or destroying some 30,000 emails. Evidently, she instead reasoned that she was within months of becoming President Hillary Clinton and therefore, in her Clintonesque view of the presidency, exempt from all further criminal exposure. Would a President Clinton have allowed the FBI to reopen their strangely aborted Uranium One investigation; would the FBI have asked her whether she communicated over an unsecure server with the former president of the United States?

Former attorney general Loretta Lynch, in unethical fashion, met on an out-of-the-way Phoenix tarmac with Bill Clinton, in a likely effort to find the most efficacious ways to communicate that the ongoing email scandal and investigation would not harm Hillary Clinton’s candidacy. When caught, thanks to local-news reporters who happened to be at the airport, Lynch sort of, kind of recused herself. But, in fact, at some point she had ordered James Comey not to use the word “investigation” in his periodic press announcements about the FBI investigation.

How could Lynch in the middle of an election have been so silly as to allow even the appearance of impropriety? Answer: There would have been no impropriety had Hillary won...

*skip*

How could former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe assume an oversight role in the FBI probe of the Clinton email scandal when just months earlier his spouse had run for state office in Virginia and had received a huge $450,000 cash donation from Common Good VA, the political-action committee of long-time Clinton-intimate Terry McAuliffe?

Again, the answer was clear. McCabe assumed that Clinton would easily win the election.

To paraphrase Hillary: “We’re all gonna hang.”

I sure hope McAuliffe ends up getting dragged in to this crap and ends up going to prison.

There are only a handful of politicians whom I despise more than I despise Terry McAuliffe.

Then we have a more dangerous unethical federal workforce, more so than any president. They view bribery, gift, murder, and treason as the brass ring. They envy the Clintons and Obama’s of this world, just waiting their turn to cash in and start destroying anyone in their path as well.

Hillary believed that none of what other people called her “scandals,” were crimes, because she believed that any office she held belonged to her. She believed that if she became President, the entire United States would belong to her... not only every building, road, dam, port, and home, but every person, law, and moral precept. Every thought, every penny, every child, would belong to her, literally, to be done with what she wished.

“long-time Clinton-intimate Terry McAuliffe” ....I misread as, ‘long-time Clinton INMATE’!

Imagine a scenario in which you run into Sid Blumenthal and Terry Mcauliff in a sinking boat? You only have room to save one. Which one do you save?

The number of complicit clinton supporters holding US government positions is very large.

To prosecute effectively, perhaps hundreds can be exempted by after being squeezed turn wholeheartedly states evidence. The little guys know all the transgressions of their superiors and when free to testify will sing their hearts out.

The only to be rid of the leftists and especially the Clintons is to kill them off. History teaches that lesson over and over. An America co opted by a corrupt legal system is not the America developed by the founders.

Since there is no law, there is actually no law

Off with their heads

Former attorney general Loretta Lynch, in unethical fashion in a felonious fashion, met on an out-of-the-way Phoenix tarmac...

Had to fix that obvious inaccuracy.

The Democratic Party has embraced corruption, lying, cheating and sedition in ways we have never seen before. The GOP is not pure, but it does not come close to the criminality and collusion we are seeing in the DNC.

And then the election happened...no wonder she sent the pedophile Podesta out to not concede to her supporters on election night.

Absolutely accurate. This same sentiment was put forth by Dan Bongino. He said, what he witnessed as a secret service agent over the years was that the biggest motivation for most people in government was career advancement. They played to where they saw the political winds blowing, and who they could curry favor with.

And then the election happened...no wonder she sent the pedophile Podesta out to not concede to her supporters on election night.

When she sent Podesta out, I honestly think she believed that the "Deep State" had a Plan B ready to go, some extra ballot boxes appearing at the last minute in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Remember Podesta said something that night about "All the votes still to be counted". It was only after she was informed there was no Plan B (because nobody in the deep state had bothered to create one assuming she would win in a landslide) that she finally conceded.
