AH but these are businesses owned by the people who built them. FB is Z’s site, not yours or mine. Regulating a business because it is large and monopolistic is a slippery slope. Do the hard work. Build a better platform.

They have already started doing this in subtle ways. As I’ve mentioned before, one of their methods is always opening with “Top Stories” in your NewsFeed, and only going back to “Most Recent” if you change it yourself.
Very funny with these opt-out ploys. Like Bloomberg with his abortion training check box. And everyone says the mayor has no input into abortion. (Joke was on him: More people opted out than before he changed the options.)
Certain conservatives have complained on FB that their stories are no longer appearing. You have to subscribe on their page in order to get their posts.
Another trick: The picture doesn’t appear, or any short description. Only the link. This sometimes happens when you post things they don’t like, or when you try to share what you like. One conservative keeps repeating: Copy and paste, otherwise only the link shows up when you share. Guess what her main area of expertise is: FREE SPEECH.
They HATE free speech.
They think that now they have all the money in the world, they have to show their power SOMEHOW!
That movie creeped me out. I don’t think it’s that far-fetched, especially given from FB.
