I suppose that could happen, but it would be an expensive mistake for the school district and town/city.

I haven’t heard of that happening. I take these stories with a grain of salt. Again, no religion should be taught in a public school.
The public school system needs be officially closed, with all students going to private schools instead.

My gosh, this makes me so angry.
I would love to take all their Islamic “teaching” materials and burn them, along with whoever supplied them.

Every middle school or high school should have a course on comparative religions...
All three major religions history, tenets of the faith, impact on the culture, impact of their belief system on the world. etc
An education would not be complete without the subject being studied.

The truth is there are many, many mainstreamed blacks in this country living normal regular lives who have assimilated into the general american culture, but retain a ingrained "sub culture" like every other sub culture.
But, hey, believe whatever you want to if it makes you happy...
