Nancy does not seem to understand that it was never intended that Congress be the arbiter of how Americans, rich or poor, business class or worker class, highly successful or largely unsuccessful, spent or allocated the fruits of their labor or investment.
Specifically, the Founders forbade the misuse of taxation to such purpose. (That specifically is why the 16th Amendment was required before the little dears could even tax income, other than by a flat rate, per capita.)
Nancy also displays the characteristics of a brainwashed pawn for the sociopaths of the Left, such as George Soros, in that she ritualistically parrots lines of approach--whatever the subject--that lead to class warfare, envy, racial antagonism, the lunacy of conflict between the sexes, and virtually every type of socially destructive animosity.
What an absurd example of the all too common unfitness for office, we see among the ranks of a once great political party. There is little doubt but that Jefferson & Madison would have agreed with my assessment, above.
It is a paltry sum given the financial and cultural abuses the American Middle Class has suffered the last 30 years.
I don't recall Nan arguing for the middle class keeping more of their money.
She should immediately put forward a bill to increase the middle class savings to $2,000 or $5,000 or even $10,000 savings!
My buying power kept going down with Obama’s policies - now it’s moving up again.....how do you ‘splain that Nancy???
For someone who wipes their ass with $100 bills, uh, yeah, $1,000 ain’t much.
You know, as uber-wealthy as Nanzi and her husband are, I’m willing to bet that they’d both bend down to pick up 10 Franklins. So how much more would an average person value that money (even after taxes)?
So much for “crumbs.” What a stooopid, arrogant, out-of-touch old hag!
A nice dinner out for two each month for the year. What’s not to like?
Hmmm. Crumbs?
If theyre just crumbs, why does your party demand them from me?
If theyre just crumbs, why wont you let me keep my crumbs?
Your party want to take my crumbs, yet The Donalds party lets me keep my crumbs. I think Ill go with The Donald.
They are desperate looking for any way to spin great news into a negative
Median household income in the US is somewhere around mid 50k a year, a 1K bonus is a 2% bump to their income... that’s not peanuts...
We all can’t have rich fathers who buy us congress seats for life Ms. Pelosi.
She’s in the House of Reps, not the Senate; but she is still probably the richest politicrook in either body.
Republicans should turn this around: Pelosi thinks a $1000 increase in your taxes is nothing.
