Since the Senate failed to vote on cloture motion last night and they dont come back to work until 11:00 today how do you see todays senate opening going?
I suspect there will be more cameras and Live coverage at 11:00 today than ever before. More folks will watch Senate proceedings today worldwide than ever in the history of the US Congress . My prediction
For Historical context may I offer this 2014 SNL segment of School House Rock. I suspect many folks around the world watching our United States Senate today at 11:00 might need this basic lesson on how a bill - uh executive order becomes a law uh EO . Uh whatever.
Fear we have to many spineless GOP in Senate who do not want to take on the fight
Dems....Grow up. DACA should be totally separate from the budget bill. Immigration reform should stand on it’s own....not “attach it” or else.
Now then. Exactly how many DEM Senators are on FR and got your message? I suspect more than a few. But will it be enough to get the votes needed to avoid a shut down
I suspect there are enough votes to pass the CR but not enough to invoke cloture. So let the filibuster begin. Might be an interesting weekend.
Not interesting at all. Senators probably already went home for the weekend. Rats cannot win this. DACA will not happen without a budget in place. Trump already said that. He also said the wall, no chain migration, no lottery is the minimum requirement for starting DACA negotiations.
Democrats own this. However the media spins this, unless Twitter mysteriously goes down this weekend, Trump will be a busy man tweeting.
If it appears the house intelligence memo will be released the Rats will do everything in their power to shut down the government. Theyre do this to suck up all the oxygen in the news cycle. It has been the MO of the Rat/MSM stooge complex for ever.
He might spend the weekend touring the 10 states he won who have Democrat Senators who are up for election in 2018. He can Tweet about the Democrat shutdown between stops.
Yeah but the entire world knows this now. In fact more foreigners know and understand how the US Government works than they know understand and follow their own government proceedings.
What happens in Washington DC literally affects the entire world politics more than the actions of any other world government. And the average educated person in the world knows this
Democrats continue their own self-destruction on so many levels. The Democrats today...will shut down the Federal government. I hope and pray that Trump and company...do not give these low life, hate America, political, trashbots one iota of satisfaction. Let the stupid buttheads, hang themselves, politically.
RINOs, John McCain and Jeff Flake, Neither is serving or representing the voters of Arizona. McCain is dying, and remains absent from his Senate obligations and Flake is certified mentally unbalanced. The Governor of Arizona and the voters in Arizona should immediately require McCain and Flake to resign. No DACA deal without a wall being built, etc. Case closed!!!
Interesting analysis but how many foreign media will be watching the US Senate at 11:00. And what do you think THEY will report ?
The entire world knows this now
I couldnt disagree more. The FR/Fox news world knows this and no one else. There is a total blackout of the facts by the MSM/Rat complex. Even if Sessions would do his job and indict these felons youd get crickets on TV and radio news. Drudge is part of the complex. The memo doesnt exist on Drudge. Regardless, no one else will know or care other than we who already know.
I think that most people in the world know the crap the media puts out is garbage/fake news and anyone with a smartphone can get the truth from the source making the media mostly irrelevant
The number of actual citizens that will watch the Senate LIVE at 11:00 will prove or disprove my point.
Thanks for the thread.
Best get my chores done, so Ill be free to watch the circus.
