Sweden is preparing to issue a public information manual on what to do in the event of war, as debate in the country grows over how to deal with the threat from Russia.
The brochure, due to be sent to 4.7m households, will inform the public how they can take part in “total defence” during a war and secure water, food and heating.
The booklet with the working title If Crisis or War Comes will also give guidance on dealing with threats from cyber attacks, terrorism and climate change, the FT reported.
Russia’s annexation of Crimea and military support for Ukrainian separatists, along with increased activity and exercises near the Baltics and Scandinavia have caused deep unease in Sweden.
The neutral country has begun to reverse deep post war defence cuts and incursions by Russian planes and submarines have sparked intense public debate over whether to join Nato.

Their #1 problem is an absence of wisdom and understanding.
After that, they lack courage and resolve.

Not based on recent history — the Russians left them alone even under Stalin. They were socialist birds of a feather.
Liberal democracies have a problem cramping down on internal problems.
Do not underestimate the ability of the Swedes to deter Russian aggression and cause havoc to any Russian advance.
They will make the Afghan debacle look like a cake walk.
Never underestimate a Viking nation when it gets pushed. Look at how soft the US looks until attacked at Pearl Harbor and the Towers.
The response to the Towers pales in comparison to the response to Pearl Harbor.

Russia would have to go through Finland to attack Sweden. Russia has some experience with warring with Finland and those experiences haven’t been good from Russia’s perspective.

Yes...they're doing a great job protecting THEIR women on THEIR streets from knife attacks and rape by muslims. Sweden now has the dubious distinction of being the rape capital of the world. Those manly Vikings stood up to the muslin invaders by telling their women to stay off the streets. I'm sure that has the Russians quaking in their boots.

Don’t worry Sweden , Russia would never make it through Finland
So if Russia invades Sweden, do they fight or hail them as liberators?
