Simone Biles, the golden girl of the 2016 Olympics, added her name Monday to the list of gymnasts who say they were molested by team doctor Larry Nassar.
The revelation came in a long statement on her social media accounts — one day before a weeklong sentencing hearing where Nassar will hear from nearly 100 victims.
"Most of you know me as a happy, giggly and energetic girl. But lately...I've felt a bit broken and the more I try to shut off the voice in my head the louder it screams," Biles wrote in a #metoo post.
"I am not afraid to tell my story anymore. I too am one of the many survivors that was sexually abused by Larry Nassar," she continued.
"For too long I have asked myself, 'Was I too naive? Was it my fault?' I now know the answers to those questions. No. No, it was not my fault. No, I will not and should not carry the guilt that belongs to Larry Nassar, USAG [USA Gymnastics], and others."

Larry, What were you thinking?
USA Gymnastics, Márta & Béla Károlyi, and perhaps even the United States Olympic Committee are facing huge legal exposure. Assume multiple civil suits are coming.
Thinking he could do whatever he wanted a get away with it, for one.
He got away with it so long that he probably figured he’d never be caught.
Something about Károlyi always bothered me.
Such inspiring young ladies. Hope this never happens again.
At this point, who WASN’T molested by Dr. Nassar?
My all-time favorite gymnast was Dominique Moceanu.
A fantastic story, she discovered she had a sister her mother had given up for adoption, who was born without legs. But that doesn’t stop her. It’s truly the most inspirational story I’ve ever witnessed.

While I believe it could have happened, Part of me wonders if this is just to make sure they are on board the lawsuit money train just in cast there is a huge payout.

.....did NONE of these girls not think to tell their parents or a teacher?
They weren’t chained in a basement!
They never ratted on him.....surely there were other doctors

Her “Devil Went Down to Georgia” floor routine from Atlanta ‘96. One for the ages! Have yet to see something like that replicated.
They were children in a hugh system marketing them. They had no opportunity to choose other doctors.
They had an opportunity to speak to someone......anyone....they didn’t have to let the abuse continue
What am I missing here
This wasn’t 20 years ago...this is the age of ‘good touch, bad touch’ like they teach in schools
Who knows who any of these young girls told, and who told them to shut up and carry on?
The desire of some commentators to blame the young girls suggests that they think they need to defend Donald Trump in this situation, but there’s really no connection between Trump and Dr. Nassar. Trump is clear on this.
If anyone, including the parents, told a child to shut up and carry on, they are just as complicit as the perp!
