Stephanopoulos Exploits Death of US Soldier to Take a Shot at Trump

ABC Clinton lackey George Stephanopoulos stepped up the liberal media’s condemnation of President Trump during Sunday’s This Week by heinously exploiting the heroic death of a U.S. soldier to take a snide shot at the President for his recent immigration comments.

As he was wrapping up the show, Stephanopoulos drew attention to the death of Private Emmanuel Mensah. Private Mensah was an immigrant from Ghana who sacrificed himself to save several others from a fire that was consuming the apartment building he was staying at with family while he was on leave.

Finally this week, in that now infamous oval office meeting with President Trump, Senator Lindsey Graham countered Trump's slur with a simple truth: America is an idea, not a race. A truth exemplified by Martin Luther King,” Stephanopoulos sneered. “And quiet heroes like a young soldier home on leave two weeks ago.

After detailing Mensah’s heroic actions that day, Stephanopoulos noted that “he was drawn by the idea of America, driven to protect it. And he died saving the lives of his fellow Americans.” And he used that memory to take his underhanded shot. “Private Emmanuel Mensah: African immigrant, American hero. We honor his memory this week. May the commander-in-chief he served remember his story,” he declared.

As Stephanopoulos stared into the camera with utter contempt for the President, the image faded to a shot of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington, DC as birds chirped in the background.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Finally this week, in that now infamous oval office meeting with President Trump, Senator Lindsey Graham countered Trump's slur with a simple truth: America is an idea, not a race. A truth exemplified by Martin Luther King, who we honor this weekend. And quiet heroes like a young soldier home on leave two weeks ago. When a fire broke out in the New York apartment building where he was staying among a family with four young children. He got that family to safety. Then rushed back to the flames three more times. Saving four more lives. When he went to bring a fifth person out, said his uncle, the fire caught up with him. That soldier's name is Emmanuel Mensah. He came to the United States five years ago from the west African nation of Ghana. He was drawn by the idea of America, driven to protect it. And he died saving the lives of his fellow Americans. This week, the Army honored with a Soldiers Medal, its highest award for valor outside of combat. Private Emmanuel Mensah: African immigrant, American hero. We honor his memory this week. May the commander-in-chief he served remember his story.

Yeah, and tomorow ABC and CNN will have their cozy warm seat in the White House Press room, and conservative sites, newspapers, radio personalities, will not be there. Why does Trump Reward his enemies, and disregard his friends?

George lives in a different world than you or I. The days of Waco and Ruby Ridge and Mogadishu and Benghazi are victories in his little pea brain. Claiming he cares about a soldier and his actions of courage is one more lie.

Did he come here illegally or did he follow the laws of this nation?

Thanks Kaslin. Mister Bimbo Eruptions points out that an apparently Christian born in Ghana left his ****hole country of origin to get to America.

How cute...Little Georgie Midget Boy opens his tiny mouth to barf out a tiny insult against President Trump. He needs a bottle, a burp cloth a tiny diaper change; it's way past his nap time. 🍼

Senator Lindsey Graham countered Trump's slur with a simple truth: America is an idea, not a race.

What does race have to do with what Trump was alleged to have said? What someone said he said had nothing to do with race.

But, I suppose that dirt bags like Graham have to squeeze every last bit of mileage out of such gossip.

He was a legal immigrant.
“Private Emmanuel Mensah went off to serve in the Army National Guard, but it was back home where he made the ultimate sacrifice.
Mensah died trying to rescue people from his burning apartment building last month in the Bronx, New York, in the city’s deadliest fire in more than 25 years, Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
Mensah, 28, had immigrated from Ghana in Africa and was a permanent legal resident in the US.”...Secretary of the Army Mark T. Esper approved the posthumous award of The Soldier’s Medal for Mensah. The medal is the Army’s highest award for heroism that occurs outside of combat, according to the National Guard.
“Private 1st Class Mensah’s heroic actions are in keeping with the highest traditions of military heroism and selfless service and reflect great credit upon himself, the New York Army National Guard and the United States Army,” the award citation says.
The link has good information but the political spin is heavy at time.

The single most important fact is that George Stephanopoulos owes everything he has in this world to the Clinton criminal enterprise. Like a pyramid scheme, he got in early. Hot wife, plush estates, cushy well-paying jobs for the asking, all of it. He is part of the extended Clinton crime family, so take his words with perhaps a bit of skepticism.

Why would you ask if he came here illegally? Ghana does not share a border with the United States. Or do you think he swam all the way from Ghana to the United States?

Is this the same George Steponallofus who gave $10K to the Clinton Family Crime Foundation? The one whose wife said they’d move to Canada if Trump won? That George Steponallofus?
