The United States cannot afford to pay for people from failed countries to live in the United States.

The basis for selecting immigrants needs to be the benefits that they can bring, period.

Anyone who wants to invoke the ideal of charity being a virtue needs to understand that charity begins at home, and start helping the people who already legally live in their country.

It isn't "Charity" if it is done by confiscatory taxation. It is theft.

Same as in many countries, like Switzerland— who will not accept ANY Americans to full citizenship, even skilled ones. Ask someone from Nestle, for example.
