Killing Trump Is Deep State's 'Plan C,' Warns Adviser Roger Stone
American Thinker.com ^ | January 11, 2018 | Selwyn Duke

It's a shocking claim made by a political insider: the Deep State is so opposed to draining the swamp that it will, if necessary, kill President Trump to prevent it.

Roger Stone, a longtime Trump adviser and confidant, certainly knows his way around Washington, having worked as a senior campaign aide to Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Senator Bob Dole as well as having held many other political positions. This proximity to the Deep State is what makes his claim, expressed in a recent wide-ranging interview with The New American magazine's Alex Newman, that much more eyebrow-raising. Stone outlined three plans the Deep State has for eliminating the president, as Newman relates:

The Deep State's "Plan A," Stone said, is the imploding "investigation" into alleged "Russian collusion" by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. If and when that fails, which Stone suggested was likely, the establishment would move to "Plan B." In essence, that plot would involve trying to get a majority of Trump's [C]abinet to declare him unfit for office. This would allow Trump to be removed under the U.S. Constitution's 25th Amendment – another scheme Stone said would probably flop. Last but not least, though, if all else fails, Stone warned of "Plan C": [k]illing the president.

Interesting here is that Newman's piece was published January 1, just before talk of President Trump's alleged mental instability became the month's big news story. In fact, released just four days later was journalist Michael Wolff's book Fire and Fury, which makes the case that Trump is psychologically unfit to hold office. Note, too, that Wolff has boasted that his book will bring down the president.

Well, of course it is! This is kind of a “duh” statement from Stone.

I doubt if there’s anyone on FR that thinks an attempt on the life of the president isn’t coming soon and frankly I’m a little surprised the DS hasn’t tried it yet. It’s coming.

And when it does, what are we going to do about it?

FTA:

Stone, a colorful political operative known among other things as a “dirty trickster,” further explained the Deep State’s enmity for Trump. As Newman reports, “’Trump is a real American, a patriot, he’s a real believer in Americana, and also in American superiority – American exceptionalism, if you will – and a believer in American sovereignty,’ Stone said. ‘He’s always been deeply suspicious of the international types that he was happy to sell condominiums to at inflated prices, but he never shared their politics.’” Stone also emphasized that, unbeknownst to most, Trump comes from “a long line of anti-communists.”

Moreover, because of Trump’s wealth, Stone says he’s “unbought and unbossed[.] ... Anybody who has tried to boss Donald Trump around knows that that won’t work. He’s very much his own man.”

There was virtually no existing profile of the Los Vegas shooter. Who has no profile?

everyone knows this already, he didn’t have to speak

this is why President Trump has to really focus on Draining the Swamp... starting where its alligators endanger the USA the most (such as Obamammy’s infiltrators and agents in military, defense, intelligence, security, Snake Department, etc.)

either he does drain the swamp or its alligators WILL find a way to remove him from office, if not worse

Those who are so inclined and not already doing so, might pray for the safety of President Trump.

And people were calling Trump a nut for putting his own lock on his private quarters and refusing to allow even the Secret Service access, and not allowing White House maids to touch any of his toiletries or bedding and only eating take out food brought to him by family members. Seems to me Roger Stone is not the only one who believes in “Plan C”....

“unbought and unbossed”

This is why Trump is SOOO different.

However, I don’t believe putting an X through trump is plan-C. That’s plan-D or later. Unbossed is the certainly the next major effort. Intimidation of him, and his family, as well as those he cares about. Think superman. Zod couldn’t hurt him, so he went after Lois Lane and started attacking innocents. Might be a great metaphor, but if I can think of it, Trumps shadowy nemesi certainly have

That’s the 800 lb gorilla in the room, were Trump to be suddenly “terminated”, the ramifications of such an event would devolve into a CWII scenario.

CW2 who will lead it or coordinate it when conservatives are working? Are the people today willing to lose their jobs? We aren’t farmers.

I was thinking about what would happen if plan a or b had grounds. I laughed thinking Trump has the best lawyers in the nation working for him. Better get some good judges on that SC bench.

When I saw Stzrok's tweet my mind went right there. After all, it would be the ultimate insurance policy.

That said, I imagine they'll pin their hopes on the mid-term elections and the possibility of impeachment. When that doesn't happen....

With our bad luck, it’s hard to believe Q’s ‘NSA is on our side/good guys’ but when I review how the Left demonized the NSA in ‘Enemy of the State’ maybe they are.

Push will come to shove sooner than later; I think CINC’s protectors have gamed that out ‘six ways from Sunday.’

Spooks. AFAIC Stepen Paddock was the first victim of the Las Vegas shooter(s).

They killed one of their own and are hoping everyone just “forgets about it”. Well, many of us are not forgetting about it, and I’m sure Trump isn’t either. IMHO, it’s tied to the Saudis and they made a bad mistake.
