If Kentucky does this hoards of leeches will cross the river to Ohio where John Kasich’s got ‘em covered.
Then they can start voting Democrat.
Goodbye, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodnight.
Not sure what the medicare limits is but I know a veteran can draw pension from the VA even with $100,000.00 in the bank. That is disgusting.
“In order to receive Medicaid, recipients have to agree to their next of kin being pursued for their medical bills. Medicaid will also go after the estate of any deceased recipients.”
I read that they can go after estates but I’ve never read anything about them pursuing kin when reading the requirements.
Let’s hope not.
This is a brilliant idea.
Let’s let Red States be Conservative and Blue States be Progressive, as they see fit, with a federal framework that looks like what it was supposed to look like.
At least for a few years.
After that, then as now we can then go back, look at the balance sheets, and see who is having to help who with the bills...
... and then the PARASITE communities can be told to straighten up and follow the policies of their more fiscally responsible brethren, or be cut off from the teat.
That’s why my niece ended up going onto the exchange, her conscience wouldn’t let her check yes on that next of kin thing. She ended up with a pretty crappy Bronze plan, high deductible but no monthly premium at her income level. There would have been no deductible as well as no premium on Medicaid and much more covered.
“her conscience wouldnt let her check yes on that next of kin thing.”
Was she perhaps reading the part about fathers being responsible for reimbursing medicaid for their dependent children who are in the program? I believe that would apply only to fathers who are divorced and left their families. I’ve heard they can pursue them. Maybe there’s some confusion on her part regarding what she read?
I was reading over her shoulder, it said next of kin. She asked for help, found it confusing.
