I THOUGHT I read that the DACA that Trump would accept would require the illegals to go back to their home country and apply to come back here. Is that the case?

Simply stating it does not make it true... however, if President Trump signs anything that allows these law-breaking, tax dollar-stealing invaders amnesty, he will single-handedly do what the Demonic Party and enemedia could not do over the last year--- drive an irreparable wedge between him and his base.

That is a scam that the Open Borders have tried before. The illegals would simply fly back to their home country immediately get a green card and come back.

There is a decent way to handle these DACA people. Blanket citizenship is not it. I personally will trade a solution for kids who grew up here to stay here if they are screened, properly vetted and assimilate. This only if we get real solutions to border, employer enverify and good reforms to prevent more of this from happening. Letting kids who grew up here stay is a fair exchange.

I think that’s a perfectly reasonable position.

I'd just as soon see every one removed from the country. Kids of bank robbers don't get to keep the loot.

However I would considering accepting that IF they weren't allowed to vote. And if they did it would be a felony with immediate deportation after a nice 10 year stretch in the slammer.

Adding that would cause the rats to react like vampires having Holy water poured on them. Fine by me.

President Trump is between a rock and a hard place on this issue thanks to the criminal Barack Obama.

We know there is no way the politicians in either party will ever agree to deport all of these illegal “Obama Dreamers”.

IMHO President Trump’s best option would be to agree to grant only legal resident status good for as long as they stay out of trouble with the law.
(but no citizenship and no citizen’s rights such as voting)

Any criminal convictions and off they go back to their native country with no right to ever reenter - even for a visit.

The problem IMHO is that no matter what sort of limited break you tried to cut these people the courts would intervene and expand it to full citizenship.

Would never survive a court challenge. The "dreamers" would turn around and claim Trump has violated the 14th Amendment by conferring second-class status on them and the courts would agree.

If the DACA fix includes amnesty then it’s an amnesty bill.

DACA is simply a BO EO. Trump should just rescind it.

Me too, no hash tag. We are going to get some form of DACA like it or not. Why these asses continue to try to put sweet toppings on a turd baffles me. Someone born here, unfortunately, becomes a citizen at birth. Someone brought in or sent ahead does not. Worse the send ahead move guarantees forever chain migration. Cannot you just hear the sobbing when they say well, we will allow for these DACA people to stay and then someone springs the trap, but how can you divide families, they “deserve” to be reunited with their families. (I agree with that, back in their former country). Speaking of turds, I wish the brown bomber a horrible death for dropping this one.

You’ll get some 100%ers who will still complain, but in the real world, looks like Trump is putting together a good deal. I mean, you have to give something, right?

When was the last time there was any immigration bill discussed that didn’t have some form of amnesty at its center?
