In the true tradition of the “Stopped Clock”, these Traitors nailed one fact in their clandestine communications.... Fox anchor Chris Wallace is indeed a “turd.”

Son of a steaming pile of that material, as well.

They didn’t just ‘leak’, they planted stories to promote their ‘investigation’.

Lets hope that, as reported, that 90,000 of their text messages are released and accessible by the American people.

Not kept behind closed door.

Take both of them into custody now and have Gibbs interrogate them.

You make the mistake of thinking it takes smarts to rise to a high level in government (or any enterprise). Although smarts might help, attending the right schools, belonging to the right alumni group, and having the right contacts are really what make a career. That and leveraging good work by underlings to burnish your own reputation.

Not stupid necessarily so much as arrogantand sloppy. Their conceit was assuming they would never get caught.

A bigger question might be to what end were they looking up information on a reporter. Were they planning to sneak over to his place and kill his cat?
