Voter ID needs to be a Constitutional Amendment or else the traitorous left will repeal it.
This is a sticky wicket, is the fed going to control the “fairness’ of elections?
I am not comfortable with that.
A federal voter ID that requires proof of citizenship and periodic renewal to vote in federal elections would help things. IMO.
People who care will have to go through the hoops, those that find it to be too much of a bother should probably stay home anyway.
I hear the dems howling already. AAAAaaaaaarrrrrooooooowwwwwwooooo!
Slighty off topic. I stopped at my county’s Board of Elections to have my Mom’s name removed from the rolls as she recently passed away. The lady I spoke with had just done it earlier today as a result of notification from the Ohio Secretary of State’s office. I was so glad to hear they are on top of things here.
Now she is only eligible to vote in Chicago since she drove through there once before.....
Wrong, most vote fraud is in local races where it makes the difference between winning and losing. Vote fraud rarely has a motive in Federal Elections...NH in 2016 maybe. Franken in MN. But where else in a Federal race did it make a difference.
Sitting here in Atlanta watching reports from Alabama, there were a couple hundred cases of vote fraud in the Moore-Jones race. But Moore lost by over 20,000.
Regardless of whether vote fraud determines an outcome or not, those who commit vote fraud should be prosecuted. Alabama is full of local prosecutors. Are any of them prosecuting vote fraud?
How many FReepers and Conservative activists have seen vote fraud first hand and lined up the witnesses and evidence to prosecute? If we expect the government to do everything then we are just like the liberals. Until we have camera-phone videos of the fraud and eye witnesses, we will not be taken seriously. So few of us eye witnesses have pushed the cases that prosecutors do not take it seriously.
DHS is taking over. They will probably have more subpoena power, also.
Voter ID is only a partial fix for this problem, although it would go a long way.
Purging inaccurate voter rolls, auditing elections at random, and instituting professional election administration is the way to proceed.
Spectacular visual! Well done.
LOVE it!
The individual few “GOP” states that refused, did, that I Bet, to keep thier RINOs.
“You will know them by their acts.”
Democrats are for voter fraud. Melowese Richardson was convicted of voting multiple times in Hamilton County, Ohio. One of the years was for Obama 5 or 6 times. I believe she was convicted of voting for him 5 times, but she said six. Also she was convicted of voting multiple times in an off year. But she says she voted multiple times for 6 election cycles. That is 12 years! She was so obvious finally she was caught. She was pardoned after only serving for 4 months in jail by a Republican governor.
She was brought to a Democrat sponsored voting rights rally and got a standing ovation. Democrats love voter fraud. Fight them.
Why not use a Passport for the ID?
It supposedly is very high-tech and is supposedly almost impossible to forge.
I’m not sure what all goes into a passport these days.
You may be right.
I can’t point my finger to the reason, but it just rubs me the wrong way to have to go out and obtain a passport to vote.
The fees are an issue, I believe.

Come to think of it.. we might not even have to have (usually Democraps) checking the PP before you vote, just have it scanned AT the polling machine itself, then the machine printing your vote to check for machine tampering, if need be.
I believe you’ll get some sort of racial complaint when you have to pay $100 dollars to vote. Some will see it along the same lines as a poll tax. Hand out the Passports like we driver’s licenses and I think we’ll avoid that challenge.
Then again, why not just use Driver’s Licenses. We already have them.
