I realize you post alot from the conservative tree house, and I go there to read some of their stuff as well, but it’s a known fact that they dislike Bannon. Just saying

_______

I hadn't noticed that I said ANYTHING about The Conservative Treehouse's opinion of Steve Bannon. Where did you get that?

____

By the way, when all this story's BS passes I will still have the same opinion of Steve Bannon. That is that he is a very smart man who is now in a difficult time in his life.

And, the author of this book is a lying bastard.

Thanks, this entire ‘story’ is predicated on rumors. The so called author should be exposed. I’m waiting to hear directly from our President. The rest, press releases etc, don’t convince me at all.

Yeah, that’s going to leave a mark.

Thanks for posting those links. Hopefully now we can get past the shock stage which has some denying Trump said this about Bannon and deal with the reality of it.

I may not know him as well as others, but to me Trump does not seem like the kind of man who will take criticism of his family (blood) lightly, no matter how accurate such criticism may be. And I’m not talking about Bannon’s previous words against Kushner.

Bannon calling Trump Jr. “treasonous” in his latest book is probably what engendered this response from Trump. I may not have used such harsh language (describing Jr’s meeting) but it was clearly a mistake for him to have done so, at least after the fact.

But Trump Sr. will truck no criticism of his family that’s the bottom line here. Nothing more complicated than that. No “3D chess” no “backroom deal” between him and Bannon to “troll the media”.

Just a guy pissed off at another guy for insulting his kid.

Please read the information at the link provided in that post.

Consider if you will, that if any three of those things had not been done out of the 24 that were against him, he would have won.

Talk of him not being viable does nothing more than make McConnell, Ryan, and the RNC look like sages.

They went to war to prove themselves right. What a bunch of pricks!

The RNC called me for a donation this morning.

I asked them why I should since they worked so hard against Moore in Alabama. She sputtered out that they were calling on behalf of Trump,... and I cut her off right there.

I reminded her that if the RNC had it’s way, Trump wouldn’t even be president. I further stated that the RNC didn’t have a single clue about what is going on in our nation.

I hung up.

I read Don Jr’s tweets every day, and I would put up his conservatism against Steve Bannon’s any day of the week.

Frankly I don’t care. It was obvious Bannon was fired many months ago. I’m not interested in or worried about some shady writer supposed quotes, and the media’s big erection thinking they “got” the President once again.
This is all a big circus distraction from real issues that need to be worked on now.

Hopefully McConnell will get his arse in gear to get some of POTUS agenda through now.

Thank you for your note of agreement.

More information has come out, and I’m setting back until it all shakes out.

Not liking what I am seeing.

Other than the reality that it’s all babbling bs? Drudge holds grudges and imho has no insight. Still waiting to hear from our President directly, not second hand ‘reports’. But that’s just me. I’ve learned that President Trump is never adverse to setting the record straight.

“Steve Bannon appears to have contracted Karl Rove disease.”

Karl Rove is very happy over all of this right now.

Bannon calling Trump Jr. “treasonous” is enough in my book. Bannon is dead to me, and if Breitbart stands by Bannon than Breitbart is dead to me. Breitbart needs to choose, Trump or Bannon.

Perhaps what gripes me the most is seeing Trump seemingly echo McConnell, Ryan, and the RNCs claim that Moore/Bannon lost that Senate seat.

No, the Republican leadership lost that seat.

Do everything you can to back your candidate, and then if he loses I’ll consider if he was a poor selection or not. Don’t go to war against him side by side with one of the most vile ideologies on the planet at this time, and tell me it wasn’t your (not you of course) fault.

I honestly am beginning to think some people here would kneejerk attack Saint Peter the second the Washington Compost dropped an unconfirmed/unread story about how Trump made a Tweet bashing him.

Bannon may be in a difficult time in his life - and yes we know that Michael Wolff is a lying, leftist bastard. But the problem remains. Why was Bannon even talking to him at all. A man with solid judgment would hang up the phone immediately once Wolff identified himself. You would not say word one to him. Bannon’s biggest problem is bad judgment (perhaps from his emphasis on self-aggrandizement), and we’ve seen it in play a few times in the past year. He needs to correct that problem first and then worry about becoming a serious player in the world of politics and government once he has that issue corrected.

Bannon jumped the shark big time. It is a shame. Breitbart was important and Bannon has done it a lot of harm here.
