The Democrats think the so called Illegal Dreamers are more important than Government Workers?

The POTUS should just tell the Rats that if they shut down the Government those same Workers will not be paid for their time off retroactively as in the past.

They will have to use up their paid Vacation days or not be paid at all since they won’t be working “for the people”.

i wonder what a shutdown will look like under Trump

It will look great.

Parks open ...social security checks mailed...military, border and law enforcement on their jobs

Nonessential workers don't get paid

And in March the DACA ceases to exist.

Dreamers...Dims all discombobulated

Every bill introduce on DACA greatly expands eligibility from the 700,000 already signed up.
3.5 million is what they are shooting for.

Eliminating chain migration will cause many of the Dreamers to go home with their families. It has always seems clear to me that he would allow the Dreamers. I don’t believe he loses much support on this

That and you add all of those “dreamers” to the voting rolls.

If it happens in March....wage earners will see bigger paychecks as the lower IRS withholding starts in February.

There is only one winning deal to be made on DACA.

700,000 already enrolled get a green card in exchange for complete wall funding, end anchor babies, end chain migration, mandatory e-verify for work and benefits, massively increased funding for expedited removals starting with the parents of the amnestied.

He just threw another chip on the table by canceling the funding for the NY/NJ tunnels and bridges projects.

Agreeing to any kind of amnesty would be the equivalent of raising taxes after promising: “Read my lips”.
We rejected more than a dozen GOPers who were prepared to sell us out. This is in Congress’ lap. He won’t sign amnesty.

mandatory e-verify too

That's what I was hoping for. No other single enforcement provision would have a greater impact on illegal immigration, not even the wall.

Remember nearly 50% of aliens illegally in the US came legally as non-immigrants.

If demonrats were smart, they would make the deal for amnesty for 800k illegals. Amnesty would sink Trump’s ship.

Not unless they change existing law. Should DACA pass then once the dreamers go through the process and are given the status of Lawfully Admitted Permanent Residence (LAPR) the clock starts ticking.

There is a 5 year waiting period in which the LAPR must show good moral character before being eligible to naturalize. Only then can they vote.

The only question is how much does Trump extract from

How much does he extract from the tax payers to raise all those foreign citizens from cradle to grave. How many more will come because of the amnesty? We did this before, how did that work out.

He doesn't need a deal, just enforce the laws already on the books and arrest those governors.

“I will immediately terminate President Obama’s illegal executive order on immigration, immediately,”

Thank you Proust, I thought I remembered that he promised to end it.

Why couldn’t he have eliminated DACA on day one?

He could have the question is why didn't he?

I don’t know how much he’s fighting on this. Seems like he’s going to legalize illegals for the sake of a permeable wall.
