BDS Fail: Ringo Goes Where Lorde Fears to Tread, Confirms Two Shows in Israel

Ringo Starr will perform two shows in Israel later this year in defiance of the anti-Israel BDS movement that calls for the complete isolation of the Jewish State. The former Beatle made the announcement on his personal website. It comes just a week after New Zealand singer Lorde cancelled her planned Tel Aviv concert after a vocal campaign by BDS activists.

Ringo has chosen a band that includes fellow rock legends Steve Lukather of Toto, Greg Rollie of Journey and Graham Gouldman of 10cc as the All-Starrs. The two shows are booked for Tel Aviv’s Menorah Mivtahim Arena on June 23 and 24.

The visit comes 52 years after The Beatles were originally scheduled to perform in Israel in 1966 – but were turned away by the government of the day who deemed them to be a “bad influence” on Israeli youth.

The Oldest of the Beatles, and will probably outlive them all.

God Bless Him for standing with Israel.

In some language we don’t know, “ringo” must mean shooting.

You don’t see one like him very often. When you do, you smile and ask others if they saw him too.

Back off Bugaloo And Roger Waters has become little too "Comfortably Numb". Since "the Jews" "own" the music biz, perhaps Waters shouldn't bite the hand that fed him for the last 50 years. Even a wild animal knows not to sh!t where they eat.

Always liked Ringo. He’s highly admired by his drumming peers, played a big role in improving the Beatles, has had a successful solo career, and married a beauty.

Ringo marches to the beat of his own drum. ;)

And Roger Waters can go beat his head on The Wall.
