Hundreds of new protective barriers will be permanently installed in Times Square and other locations around New York in an effort to block vehicles from hitting pedestrians after deadly attacks last year on crowds. The city is spending $50 million on protective measures including the installation of 1,500 metal barriers, or bollards, in key locations around the city, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Tuesday.

They have had barriers in New York for years. For instance and easily viewed, the plaza outside the Fox news studio has massive flower pots that are in fact vehicle barriers

well, since we can’t erect barriers against Moslems, we erect barriers against the latest Moslem violence technique.
That’s true. But even without the attacks, it might not be a bad idea to put concrete planters or metal bollards around pedestrian areas because, even before Islamic terrorism, there were times when speeding taxis or other vehicles would simply jump the curb and take out nearby pedestrians.
They should try to make them look good though.

Barriers are a waste of money. Deport illegals and ban invaders to save money and lives.
I call the barriers “Moslims.”
And this will stop the bad guys? Guess again Warren. You could spend $100M on protective barriers and not stop the bad guys. Because the bad guys will always find a way. It's what they do.
Perhaps the solution is to prevent the bad guys from having access to your city?
New York City to install 1,500 protective barriers after vehicle attacks, at a cost of 50 Million Dollars and will continue to be a Sanctuary city and not support a ban on travel from terrorist nations.
